Another thing worth mentioning is that the shade range is excellent and I feel like most people should be able to find a shade that works for them. I realized that because I don’t regularly use foundation, I hadn’t perfected an application technique, and no matter how good you are with makeup, I think you need to work with foundation a few times to figure out what works for you. Some might argue that at this price point it should work miracles, no questions asked. That’s just not realistic, so here’s what worked for me: cleaned and moisturized; half hour later, applied primer, waited for it to set a bit, then dabbed on the foundation and used a blending brush to spread and blend it in. I used a light hand and worked quickly. I found that technique worked the best for me. It enabled me to achieve a very comfortable even, light to medium coverage, with a beautiful matte finish.A word about color and consistency: I chose .5 Porcelain and I was very happy with that. It’s also fairly thin, which makes it possible to achieve lighter coverage.I believe that with a practiced hand, you’ll find this is an exceptional foundation. Is it worth the money? It’s impossible to give a definitive yes or no, as money is subjective. All I know is that once I figured out what worked best on my skin, I was quite pleased with the results and will definitely use it again.

I normally use drug store to high end foundation but never one this expensive so I was curious to see what the hype was all about. It is a matte foundation and is supposed to be blurring. I didn't use a primer as I wanted to see how the foundation sat on my skin apart from a primer. A little bit goes a long way as I put on too much and didn't like how it looked. I applied one side with a damp sponge and the other side with a brush. I liked the sponge better on the initial application as it gave a more solid coverage and air brushed look. It did smooth out and blur my skin but the large pores on my nose were on display and it did not blur them at all. It also looked very powdery upon dry down which just accentuated every line on my face. Not a good look. It doesn't have a radiance but it's also not flat if that makes sense. I tried the foundation again and this time,used Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood flawless filter as my base primer due to its glowy radiance. I applied the foundation with a brush and sort of stippled it on as to not disturb the flawless filter. I did not use as much foundation this time as less is more with this one. You do have to work quickly with this foundation as it dries down very fast so I did it in sections. Over top of the glowy base, it looked flawless. It blurred all of my texture and pores and it stayed in place all day long and it had a healthy glow. It played well with other products such as my blush and bronzer and stayed flawless all day long. It transfered ever so slightly onto my telephone but literally barely. It looks natural and like you aren't wearing any foundation at all. Pros-longevity, it lasts all day long and doesn't budge, does blur texture and pores with the right application and light hand. Cons-finicky and you have to find what application works best. If you do not use a glowy primer, it will be extremely dry looking but with a glowy primer it will give it some much needed radiance. It dries down very quickly so time is of the essence. The scent , if you have a sensitive nose might be too herbal for some and of course the price tag of 150 dollars, ouch. If I had to compare it to a foundation with similar qualities, I would say it's comparable to the Dior Forever but more finicky. Overall, it is a nice foundation but I can't see it's value for the money.

I felt it looked ten times better, it was honestly so natural yet medium-full coverage allowing you to build upon it.With lots of the cushion foundations I’ve tried, they aren’t nearly as full coverage as this, the one I currently own is very lightweight and doesn’t really cover much unless I use color corrector and foundation. With the Tom Ford foundation, even if you don’t color correct your under eyes and redness, it will still cover it up pretty well without feeling heavy at all!Their shade range is pretty amazing, as someone who’s really pale and used to be olive undertones, and now leans toward cool undertones, sometimes foundations make me look like a hot mess, unable to actually pair with my skin whereas this foundation rather highlights it! Not to mention the packaging is stunning and comes in a liquid “dispenser/pump” instead of a bruh making it more hygienic especially if you’re someone who plans to use this on clients.Pairing it with the L.O.C.K. setting spray, my makeup lasts me the whole day even when it’s 80°+ outside, my makeup won’t become patchy or sweat off!

You can actually see the glowing effect of the foundation when you apply it - I use a very fair shade (00-Pearl), and my face looked noticeably brighter than it did before application. The shade range is wide, and my only problem was deciding which color would suit me best. After trying it, I would recommend going a shade lighter than your usual, which worked well for me. There is an almost imperceptible and pleasant scent to the foundation, and while I generally prefer unscented products, it isn’t overwhelming or overly imposing, just in keeping with its high-end nature.As I mentioned previously, this is a premium product, and the bottle, which is quite heavy and makes an attractive addition to my makeup display, will make you feel confident and pampered. I also would like to mention that if you are looking for full coverage, I do think this foundation can give you that. I have many flaws on my face, such as blemishes, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, and I was able to cover all of that with just a couple of dabs of foundation. The thing I really love about this foundation is it doesn’t feel heavy and in fact it feels like you’re wearing nothing. The only reason I did take one star off is because it does have a very earthy sent to it, it kinda smells like lavender with some other type of herb, I am just not someone who enjoys those natural smells but other than that, this foundation is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend trying it out
