Tom Ford - Cherry Smoke - 30ml

It is unisex (and the sweetness from the fruit notes are noticeable) but it leans a bit more masculine- but still very sexy! I’ve been wearing it these days while it’s a bit chilly out and this will definitely be a staple for fall/winter.To describe this fragrance in the simplest terms, it would be: medicinal cherry (in a good way) winding down to a smoky leather with a hint of sweetness (cinnamon? But all the other notes you experienced during the dry down are all still very present. They don’t necessarily go away but really take their time into blending with one another. Once it fully dries down the fruitiness is barely there just a slight touch with the sweet leather- its more about the smokiness and woodiness (with a touch of sweetness) which personally makes a great skin scent. The longevity and projection were great for me- which makes it all the more worth while. I will spritz right above my wrists and to the back of my neck and once it sinks in you’re not overwhelming anyone but I have been stopped and asked what I was wearing. It’s definitely different! And on my skin it will last about 5 hours, give or take.I really do love this fragrance- especially because I was looking for something to try out leather as a fragrance note- and I will never say no to a smoky or woody scent!

I didn't know what to expect from this release, but I welcomed it with an opened mind. I will say that I do not own that many fruity forward fragrances in my collection. Especially, fragrances with a dominant cherry note. Cherry Smoke swayed me at first spray.It opens up with a real juicy, sweet, plum-like, dominant cherry note. He is like a chef of smell. This one starts out with cherry, but not a thin, cheap version like an air freshenser. This smells more like a marashino cherry after it has been soaking in bourbon. Does Not Harmonize Cherry and Smoke Together

I wish I could say the smoke afterwards has a hint of cherry in it, but it really doesn't. For something this expensive, you're honestly better off picking something else from the Private Selection Line because this just is not unique enough in my opinion to justify getting because it smells like just any other campfire perfume out there once it settles on the skin.For reference, I have owned over twenty different Tom Ford Private Selection Perfumes, so I do have a higher standard for this line. It is not at all a 'bad' scent compared to all perfumes. I just feel it is a 'bad' Private Selection Perfume, especially since it's the more expensive version in the line.

This perfume is amazing for the girls that love oud and darker smelling scents. I was a little scared to try this perfume as I am not the biggest fan of Tom Ford Lost Cherry.
