I'm disappointed with this product. I've always used an Elizabeth Arden eye primer, but it's proving hard to find, so I bought this, based on the good reviews. Sadly, it didn't work for me. Applied at 7am, but by lunch it had stayed in the crease but completely disappeared from the eyelid. Essentially it looks worse than if i wasn't wearing a primer at all. 5 stars to John Lewis. Tom Ford 0.

Counter rep used this under the TF eyeshadow I tried. Didn’t even make my shadow last a couple of hours. Eyeshadow creased like crazy and there was a noticeable “bald spot” on my mobile lid where all the shadow had transferred off completely. I haven’t open it so it will be going back!!

Just one dab per eyelid then pat with fingertips. Dries very quickly and appears invisible. Allows the application of eyeshadow to last all day with no creasing whatever type of product is used. Excellent primer.
Applying this primer before your eyeshadow makes the eyeshadow color you have shine brighter. You can use your fingers to spread it out, or you can apply it with a concealer brush to apply it evenly.
I bought this after reading an independent review. I was looking for a brightening primer that lasts (my eyelids are darker than my facial skin tone). The product descriptions says: "Waterproof, transfer-proof, sweat- and humidity-resistant, this formula is designed to stay put." I work 12 hour days and it did not last the day and lost color as the day went on.
This eye Primer was wonderful it does keep my eye make up in place all day. What like the most about this eye primer it keep my eye make up looking fresh and pretty. Before when I used other eye primer my eye make up does smear and has a crease line. I am glad I did give the Emotionproof Eye Primer a try out. :D
I am a makeup artist and I have always loved Tom Ford eyeshadows, so I decided to order this primer. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It instantly brightened and smoothed the eyelid when I applied it. I didn’t need to use a lot of product to get the effect. When I went to apply the eyeshadow over the primer- it immediately grabbed the pigment, but still allowed for blending. The effect this product had on pigment payoff, smoothness of skin, and longevity were all awesome! Very psyched about this eyeshadow primer.
Very good eyeshadow primer: - easy to apply evenly - slight color correcting peach shade, but it's rather sheer - smooths eyelids without drying - makes eyeshadows adhere longer and prevents creasing - practical doe foot applicator - sleep compact tube, great for on the go Overall: I have tried so many eye primers and most are either too sheer and don't seem to help much with creasing or they are too opaque and heavy so my eyes look dry and aged. This provides just the right amount of soft color correction and it doesn't make my eyes look crepey. I really like this!
After trying a few others, this eyelid primer by Tom Ford is really worth the money. I have deep set eyes and my eye makeup usually smudges in the crease. However, if you apply this one with your finger over the lid and into the crease, and let it dry, I have found it holds my eyeshadow and eyeliner all day.
