soft and satiny-matte. It's so hard to describe. The thing I usually dislike about satin lipsticks is their quick fade time, but this Time Ford lipstick really doesn't have that
problem. It does lose some of it's intensity with eating and drinking, as the day progresses, but it lingers on as a perfect stain on your lips. The fade is also even, so even if you
go a few hours before reapplying, your lips still have the prettiest tint to them. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be buying a few as holiday presents.

First of all… this shade, ‘revolve around me’ looks absolutely nothing at all like the picture they put on the app. I put a real picture down below. It’s a gorgeous nude that is my perfect shade… after searching for years and years. It’s the creamiest lipstick I’ve ever used, most hydrating nourishing formulation. I’m obsessed with it! The Le Mepris lipstick has a coral and warm undertone with a little shiny look. It's also very hydrated so it won't dry out your lips. However, the pigmentation is not very strong. Therefore, if you have dark lips' color, you may have the ending color on your lips look differently than the lipstick itself. It lasts 3/4 hours on my lips without smudging and eating oily stuffs lol. Still, it's a very high quality lipstick.

I got this in the shade Aphrodite on a lark - never tried it in person, and this was my first Tom Ford lipstick. I think I purchased it at the 20% discount, which is great considering this costs over $50!But if you have the interest and budget, I would 100% recommend the lipstick in the Aphrodite shade. The texture is creamy and nourishing, while the color is a rich pinky-red with a slight bit of shimmer. On me, it stains my lips a nice, vibrant warm pink so that even when the creamy color wears off, there is still a lot of color left. This is great because you can reapply less often - helpful when the lipstick is so expensive to start with!I find that this lipstick has a pleasant, lightly sweet smell as well. This is one of my very first Tom Ford Lipsticks so i cant compare it to any others ( I did purchase another from his line i just havnt used it yet) I was so excited to try this out specially for the VIB ROUGE sale it wasnt cheap still i think after 15% it ended up being around $50 so that was only $5 off & remeber you still pay for tax so basically the sale took care of the tax for me. When i finally got the lipstick i opened that box like a crazy women i was that excited! I applied it to my lips just to see NOTHING and i mean nothing was on my lips but a sheer shine. I did notice little sparkles but the color just wasnt there at all and i felt like it was way to close to my lip color & maybe thats why it didnt show up on me i do have some what pigmented lips. I love the packaging & i hope Tom Ford comes out with this kind of lipstick with more color pay off. Now if you dont mind spending the cash for just a lip balm kinda product and for whos name is on it then this will be right for you but if you wanted more of a lipstick that has color this isnt the one you want look into his other lipstick.

I can't really recomend the TF sheer colors, esp given the price but Tom Fords Lip Foil lipsticks, if you are older and want a sparkle to the lips without a face full of that glitter later then yes Tom Ford's Foils are the best way to go. I am a lipstick hoarder to be honest but since the Ford lipstick/cost were gifts picked by me from my husband I have only a few. I will get another and at this point I can highly recommend TF's Soleil Foilsonly for women above mid 40's that like shimmer to metallic look that lasts.

I received this as gratis from sephora and Tom Ford for which I am thankful as I would probably not have tried it on my own.. this was the exact color I had on top of the wish list so I was very thrilled! I do find that the texture is thin/light feeling which is great for summer but initially slightly drying for my dehydrated lips. My first impression was (couple months ago) that It can emphasize dry patches if I am not careful. Even though goes on somewhat sheer yet it is very buildable. It does leave an even stain on the lips after wearing off and it lasts about 2-3 hours without eating/drinking. I love the colour even though it looks so intimidating in the tube but since its buildable, it goes on a nice pinky plummy color and eventually builds up to more plummy ... I first learned of this lipstick bc I read an interview with Caroline Stanbury (who I totally girl crush on) of the Real Housewives of London, and she said that she had her assistant go all over the city and buy all the tubes of Tom Ford Paradiso because it was limited edition and it was the most gorgeous color she had ever worn. I was intrigued, but the color wasn't available. I found it on eBay for double what the retail sale price would have been. I never pulled the trigger. Then I noticed that Sephora started carrying TF, and lo and behold, Paradiso returned. I begrudgingly paid the $52 price. I am a VIB, so obviously I buy a lot of beauty products, but a $50+ lipstick - even I was like "REALLY?!?" But the lovely thing about Sephora is the awesome return policy, ...
