I bought this foundation because I had seen some reviews by oily-Skin types saying it looked beautiful. When I put this on, my makeup looked cakey but with not enough coverage. I aged about 20 years in it. It was the MOST AWFUL I've ever seen my makeup. To top it off, this foundation broke me out, and my skin isn't even sensitive! I HATED this foundation so much...BUT I didn't want to get rid of it because that sucker is EXPENSIVE, so I gave it to my daughter to try. She's more on the dry side...OMG...this foundation made her face look like she had a filter on! It looks so beautiful on her. She can wear it ALL day, and her face still looks amazing at the end. So if you're an oily person, steer clear of this foundation!!!! But for everyone else, "chef's kiss".

That way I can sheer it out so there’s a comfortable thin layer that doesn’t sink into my every fine line and pore. This is a very hydrating formula, although I do find it sticks to any dry patches you might have. The downside of this formula is that it never sets down, therefore, it’s prone to fading throughout the day. If you’re looking for a long-term all day wear foundation, this is not the formula for you. If you’re looking for something hydrating and comfortable, this may be a good fit.

Some things aren’t worth it but this foundation is.

I typically enjoy all Tom Ford’s base and cheek products however I was a little concerned with this one as my combo leaning dry skin with slightly aging skin (I’m close to turning 40) that it would be to heavy or sit on top of my face. Luckily to my surprise, this stick foundation is a very workable formulation that doesn’t immediately go on full coverage, it applies more of a light coverage (which I prefer) that can be built up nicely to full coverage as I did test it out just to see what all it could do. Skin prep plays a huge factor in any base and I will die on that hill saying that. If your skin isn’t well prepped and taken care of then it’s going to affect even the best of any bases. However you can get this one on a deal right now as it is being discontinued or reformulated one so if you are wanting to try this formulation I say run and get it now or if you already love it like me then it maybe time to grab a backup.

This was a buy influenced by someone on YouTube. Normally can’t buy foundation without trying it first because my shade/undertone is not a common combo:deep/golden olive. People were singing praises and although I had enough foundations I decided to try this. This was my first stick foundation. When I tried it on I had to look again at where I placed it because it was almost traceless. I have dry skin and it felt comfortable and lightweight. It truly looked like second skin. I only wore it for about 5 hours but it lasted well. Played nice with all my skincare and other makeup. I would purchase again.

This isn't an issue exclusive only to Nordstrom, but I also checked at Macy's and Bloomingdale's counters as well. The stock they all have available for sale was manufactured, according to the batch code, in August 2021. I called the local Cosmetics Company Store that also sells Tom Ford products at huge discounts (33% to 60%) because they are ready to expire and asked for the batch code for this product that they have on hand. It was identical. Expiring August 2021. Why is Tom Ford selling old, ready to expire products to high end retailers? Why would anyone pay $90 plus dollars for a product that will start to smell funny in a few months? Not acceptable. Most consumers don't even know to check for batch codes. Nor should they have to. Do better, Tom.

I’m that girl with numerous foundations because I’m always looking for a better one. Not this time. I bought this on sale on a whim and I’m completely blown away. The color match is perfect for my light/medium cool skin. It blends flawlessly (which I’ve found to be rare with a stick foundation), it doesn’t sink into fine lines, skin looks fresh and awake. I’ve used it with cheap primers (elf) all the way to high end (Laura mercier, etc) and it works well with all of them (water based). I will forever buy this foundation.

I bought this foundation stick without trying it on in person—it was on sale and I couldn’t make it to the store, haha.I picked 6.0. For reference, I’m a 5.25 in Armani Neo Nude, B30 in Chanel water fresh complexion touch.I was really pleasantly surprised that the color is a really good match for my skin tone (maybe a tiny bit yellow if using a lot). The formula is creamy, blendable and not drying, great coverage, but can go sheer if applied with a wet sponge for a natural glowy look. Now I understand all the great reviews! I do wish the stick wouldn’t “rattle” in the tube, but that’s a very minor complaint for a great product.

Firstly this is true skin perfecting finish, goes on like butter, smoothing and soothing, the finish is impeccable. As its oil/butters based do not pair with silicone primers, no primers are needed, in fact just bare skin or an emollient style spf / moisturizers if need.For my pale OLIVE (nc15 range) friends… shade BONE is perfection, I want to say it’s the best skin tone match out there, For a little tanned up from that shade FAWN is perfect shade (nc20+) .
