Tom Ford - Rose De Chine - 50ml

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The bottle and packaging is so luxe and pretty looking but that’s to be expected from Tom Ford. I normally wear warm florals or fresh scents. This particular scent was nice and worked well with my body chemistry. I don’t know if I necessarily got the scent of roses, but it was nice despite that. Very soft, clean and not overwhelming which I think would be great for layering with other fragrances. It is pricey based off of retail so I’m unsure if I’d say it’s worth price. But I definitely recommend going to get a sample or smelling it in person to see how you like it.

The Tom Ford Rose De Chine fragrance smells absolutely beautiful! When you first spray it there's an almost powdery floral scent, but the powdery scent quickly dissipated and your left with an elegant floral scent with a hint of warmth and spice. This is a great fragrance for all year round. The rare rose scent blends beautifully with the citrus and Chinese peony notes along with "the smokey carnality of citrus absolute and myrrh". I have gotten so many compliments on this fragrance and have had complete strangers write it down so they could go purchase asap! Elegance

I felt really lucky to receive this wonderful perfume, Rose D'Amalfi is a light mix of roses, citrus notes with a bit of vanilla; there is that powdery effect that I enjoy too much.If you like floral but soft perfumes, Rose D'Amalfi is for you! You will love it!I apply in the morning and the next day after taking a shower I continued to smell those notes of roses that I love, its longevity is very long-lasting, more than 24 hours; its trail of fragrance is moderate, people asked me what perfume I was wearing, which smelled very sophisticated and feminine.Its packaging is beautiful and minimalist, Tom Ford is elegance. I definitely recommend it and of course I would buy it again.

Elegant floral

Scent is a pleasant rose and peony, with a slightly musky undertone, which cuts into the sweetness beautifully. I had planned on using this as a special occasion frangrance, but found myself looking forward to wearing it more than my other scents. I even took this with me on a weekend trip to share with my friend. It is light enough to wear in the spring/summer.My one complaint is that it goes on really strong and fades too quickly. unless I spray it on my clothing, you can't smell it on my after a couple of hours. Ended up loving this fragrance

This packaging feels so luxurious, much like unpackaging my other fragrances from Tom Ford. This features a glass bottle that showcases the beautiful pink color of the perfume. At first spray, I wasn’t sure if I liked the fragrance as I don’t usually wear rose as a primary note in my perfumes but after I wore this for a few days it really grew on me; the perfume truly evolves as it sits on your skin. There’s a quality about it that once it sits it begins to smell a bit like Attrape-Reves from a Louis Vuitton which is another one of my favorites. I would say the laying power is about 6-8 hours for one spray. I think this fragrance also has a bit of a masculine musky scent when it sits for a bit. Fresh, pretty and floral!

I really loved this fragrance! I was hesitant at first because I normally lean towards sweeter, fruitier smelling fragrances. However, this perfume reallysurprised me positively. It was definitely a nice little segue into a more professional-smelling floral fragrance without being too harsh or overpowering. One to two spritzes would definitely be enough tolast me all day. One thing I liked about this perfume was how dynamic the scent was. It would start off as a nice floral smell, and throughout the day it would begin to bring out a sweeter fragrance as well. I will definitely continue to use this fragrance, and it will be a staple for me in the springtime!

Tom Ford Rose De Chine is a unique take on rose. I'm usually not into rose based fragrances because many are so sickeningly cloying, but I really like this one. okay you guys. I spend an insane amount of money on skin care and makeup and order from Sephora several times a week regularly and I never get anything free to review? I see so many people on this particular item saying they received it free and exchange for their review. I was considering buying it until I saw that. everybody getting it for free and no matter that I have to be the best customer ever and never return anything I never get a single even cheap item for free to review. it's bugging me. what do you have to do to get the free item to review? it cannot possibly be based on how much you spend here. what the heck?
