Tom Ford Soleil Neige Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow

Tom Ford has released another gorgeous palette. Of its shortcomings, the only thing is that the site does not send it to Russia, so I had to buy it by workarounds. I ordered through friends in England and it came out a little more expensive. But at the same time, I really like the textures, shades, quality. It is perfect for creating daytime makeup and I enjoy doing my makeup for work.

First things first, Nude Dip is a sheer palette. It's NOT intended to be the deeply-pigmented, Instagram-worthy palette that's on trend right now. It's sheer by design.That said, Nude Dip is fantastic for creating subtle, glowy, natural looks. It's perfect for creating barely-there soft focus, understated eyes in a neutral, easy to wear fashion. So if you're looking for opaque, vibrant shades to create dramatic looks with, this is not the palette for that.However if you ARE looking for soft shimmers, this quad is GORGEOUS. The shadows are buttery soft. Pillowy soft. They apply with ease and no fallout. They blend like a dream and seem to melt beautifully into each other without ever getting muddy. It's for those who can afford the splurge. The quality is absolutely here, but if you're doing cost/benefit analysis, you'd be wise to shop the mid-range brands.

This is my first ever Tom Ford Eye Color Quad. I decided to purchase the Lumiere D’Hiver limited edition quad. When I initially opened it, I was like eh. I swatched it and I liked the colors but I didn’t understand the hype. And THEN I applied to my eyelids - I get it now. The taupe color looks kind of purple ish and it just glides on my eyelids like butter - with either my finger or a brush. The shades layer well and this formula lasts me all day. I’m a fan!!
