The eraser does its job, it's soft and does minimize pencil shavings. However, this eraser is very small and I have tiny hands. I'm not sure how long it will last, I just got it today, but I would suggest getting two if you do decide to order this product.Other slight cons:This eraser does remove some ink line work, which could be an issue if you like to do a pencil sketch before inking. It will also pick up some color pencil & watercolor pencil. Does not do that well with erasing charcoal pencils. I'm not sure if I will buy this type of eraser again because of it's small size, but it is nice quality and easy on textured paper.

Amazing product. I am glad I bought it. Suddenly the pencil is my fav tool for lettering. So yeah - have ordered a couple more to use and share! Thanks for creating a nice eraser.

If I hadn't done it myself I wouldn't believe it, but this thing removes pencil under ink and even under watercolor without smearing or erasing anything but the lead! It is only effective up to a certain point of darkness in the lead, though so it's best used over light draft lines. I haven't tried it on blue sketch pencils yet.

It's nice -- kinda like a mix of a white vinyl and kneaded eraser -- you still have debris from erasing, but it's like little gummy bits that are easily removed and distinct, vs lots of little eraser bits. The eraser is slightly smaller in size than a standard white vinyl Mars eraser (thinner and slightly shorter), but that doesn't bother me. I really like it, it erases very cleanly and I don't have to worry that I'm making a big embarrassing mess if I use it in a public space -- I also like that it's like kneaded in quality of erasure, but rigid in form -- nothing bugs me more than trying to erase a small spot with kneaded gum and have it go limp/flatten while in my hands -- I'd recommend you give it a try!
I love every eraser I've purchased from ArtSnacks, but this one truly does barely leave anything behind! I absolutely love it!
I love this eraser!It actually works and there is much less eraser dust than a standard white eraser.Previously my go to erasers were the Pentel Hi-Polymers.The fact that this eraser is black instead of white, (like the pentel hi polymer) means when you use it a lot, it still looks clean. This is a huge plus for someone **** about their erasers like myself.Another huge plus is unlike other erasers when it's covered in led (from picking up pencil marks), it isn't shiny.It doesn't streak and mess up your paper.It is beautiful tobusr. Really think is ond of the best on the market.I find it excellent for erasing pencil marks from outlines after I've gone over in oen or markers.Definitely Recommend
This is a cross between a regular and a kneaded eraser. Use it like a regular eraser, then use the eraser itself to tap up any crumbs without brushing. (That's the "Dust Catcher" feature.) The eraser "sticks to itself" so it saves time. Since you don't have to brush away crumbs, there's no smearing. It is otherwise a regular gum eraser, so it works more cleanly than a kneaded eraser. While I still use a kneaded eraser occasionally to lighten a specific small area, this black eraser has become the workhorse for my graphite and charcoal work.
I got my first try 5 months ago when given this eraser as a gift. So this month I purchased 3 more.This eraser is wonderful, doesn't leave any smudge marks especially erasing graphite pencil an is gentle on paper especially when you go over areas numerous times. This is a must have item, recommend trying it out, will certainly find a huge difference over a standard white eraser.
Love this rubber I have always hated the dust the collects up around me when working with pencils but this rubber is great my work area is finally rubber dust free, I love how it keeps this tidy where you are rubbing out parts of pictures.
It doesn't produce no dust at all, but it definitely creates much less dust than a regular traditional eraser. What I love most about this eraser is how well it erases, where you see almost no marks from the pencil whatsoever. It leaves the paper looking so clean. I got the medium one, and I like that I'm able to get a good grip on it. Haven't tried the small or large yet.
