Tommee Tippee Advanced Anti Colic Bottle 260 ml 2 Pack

My daughter was born in 2013 and I hadn’t seen the Tommee Tippie bottles yet but as soon as I did I bought one. The nipple is big and soft but not the part they suck from just the nipple period so it’s like being on the mothers body because the baby can feel something touching it’s entire face not just a tiny bottle that leaves all that room if you’ve nursed they’ll know something is amiss. My daughter used these bottles until she stopped using bottles and she loved them. My only child and then in 2020 I had a son and I started using them quicker it seemed like it was too big for his face like he couldn’t breath when I used them so I used different bottles with him at first but my daughter loved them. Could be better, too many bubbles due to valve

These bottles take aim at the Dr Brown bottles by implementing a straw that guides the return air to the bottom of the bottle. The idea is to avoid bubbles in the milk. Unfortunately, Tommee Tippee have fallen short but can improve their product.I liked the colour strips to help with temperature. The wide neck makes it easy to put a spoon or chopstick into the bottle to stir.I believe the valve is too stiff and slams shut quickly when the baby stops sucking. With no other path, air is drawn up through the teat. This is exactly what the design is supposed to avoid. Why have the valve? This nearly eliminated the bubbles being formed, but now the flow rate out of the newborn teat is way too fast.Tommee Tippee, if you want to improve your product, you should look at what is done with the Dr Brown bottles. Their straw has no valve and instead they have a reservoir where they can trap all the milk in the straw. Your bottles can go from average to excellent, with a few small changes.

Good for gassy bubs

A great buy for bubs that have problems with gas and wind. The teat on the bottle feels very realistic and similar to Mums which is important (though will differ from person to person). The heat sensing strip provides peace of mind when doing late night feeds and feeling exhausted.Tricky to know whether the anti colic technology is having effect yet as we’ve just started using them, but it’s certainly slowed bub down when feeding, which is great as she’s a guzzler!Downsides that there’s lots of pieces to get into the steriliser and they can be a little tricky to wash.

Great bottles for newborns

These were great when my baby was a newborn! She wasn’t gassy and she liked the nipple. My only complaint is all the pieces there are to clean. You have to use the little brush and clean thoroughly to avoid build up. For people complaining about leaks, it only happens if you don’t close the lid correctly. It happened to us a few times until we learned to make sure. Oh, I will take one star off for this… it was hard to get every bit of the milk down to the nipple, so always felt like some was wasted!

I'm extremely happy with it!My baby was previously using another brand that was recommended to me being praised as one of the best, I wasn't happy as the bottles were leaking all the time! When I introduced this bottles to my baby it was a bit hard at 1st because she was used to the shape of the previous bottles , but after 2 days she leart how to use this ones and she's fine now. They are amazing as they don't leak and they are very easy to wash an clean afterwards. The brush is very convenient to clean inside the bottles, otherwise would I bit harder to do it. Also the dummy is great! Can't fault anything, quality of this products are outstanding as everything I own from the brand!

Leaks? YOUR NOT DOING IT RIGHT!

When putting these bottles together, they will leak if you do not put them together as intended. Make sure your nipple is actually pulled through correctly. I've mastered this bottle contraption for 3years. I know what I'm talking about. Best bottle advice ever here. This bottle is actually the best one on the market. I've learned buying a tub that collapses in the sink with a little drain helps wash these bottles. I pop everything (I'm quick at it now) off and drop it all in the hot water with clear non scented toxic free soap. I would do this throughout the day. Let them all soak. Finish up at night. Hang dry on wrack. All good for the night and next day. I did buy about 12 9oz bottles and alot of the vented nipples in replacement of their crappy one that comes with this bottle. Made my life way easier. It sucks to clean. It's a legit job. But it was my savior and I'm thankful for these difficult contraptions. Make sure to double check the white circled wheel part before putting together. I've had t boil water once a week and soak them for a a few minutes to remove leftover particles that can make your baby sick. Do not rely on cleaning machines. This is a hand wash bottle only!!! That's a only warning from me. I also drilled a bigger hole in the bottle holder to fit the tubes in. I have a specific way to dry these. Works perfectly. Good luck!

Not impressed.

These are barely acceptable bottles. They do leak like the other reviewers mention BUT the leaks only occur if you don’t have the vent pieces in the bottle. Zero leaks if it is assembled as designed. HOWEVER, the “shoulder” part of the bottle is essentially molded at a 90° angle - which means unless you literally pull the bottle out of your babies mouth and shake it, you will always waste formula because it does not run down into the nipple and instead gets stuck on that shoulder. They also have more parts to clean than any of the other bottles we tried. We bought a ton of different bottles for our newborn and these are our second to least favorite. They look nice, but function poor to average at best. The wide-top 5oz Dr. Brown’s are all around better than these, ... MoreThese are barely acceptable bottles. Perfect

I switched over to these bottles from dr. Browns bottles for my 5 month old and they changed his whole eating game. He was spitting up consistently, belching after every meal and his bottles would leak immensely. These bottles he has been eating so well on, almost never spits up anymore and his burps don’t provide spit up also because of the air flow on these. He was a preemie so he is still a bit small but these have helped him so much. The nipple is also supposed to mimic a breast so it’s easier for them to grip. I just love these bottles and this brand in general.

I tried this bottle for my son when he was difficult to settle in the evenings.All the helpful advice I received told me he had colic, and so I bought this bottle to see if it made any difference (we were desperate!)At first impression I thought; “must be better than the other anti-colic bottles, I mean, look at that green stick!”.Feeding our son with this bottle did not seem to make one lick of difference in regard to his “colic” (and I’m now not convinced it was colic at all, but rather think it was a sleep regression). At which time he grew frustrated with it fairly quickly.As a normal bottle, it was great. It even fit my breast pump and other standard tommee tippee teats, so it fits in with my collection quite nicely. I’m just not sure if that is worth $25 for 2 bottles (which is what I paid when I bought them)

The best newborn starter kit

I am so grateful for this newborn starter kit! It is the best gift for new parents. It has everything you need to begin the feeding journey. 2 (150ml slow flow) bottles, 2 (260 ml slow flow) bottles, 2 medium flow teats, 2 soothers 0-6 months and a brush to clean the bottles.Everything is very easy to cleans and sterilise, easy to use and easy to assemble. My baby is both bottle fed and breast-fed and he accepted these bottles immediately.Highly recommend!
