Tommee Tippee Anti-Colic Baby Bottle 260 ml x 2, 42252575

Hi,me and my wife purchased a tommee tippee closer to nature set of bottles and steriliser and they were absolutely rubbish leaking wise,you must be a magician to screw the cap without it leaking,7 out of 10 times you will not manage to screw the cap properly without it leaking. We thought that it was a bad lot and we bought a few single bottles (separately and from different shops) similar in shape and appearance with the “closer to nature” one’s but these ones had handles and we had the same problem. DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF BOTTLES!!! YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET IT!!! I don’t understand why these bottles have good reviews but this is what I have experienced and I also want to mention that I don’t usually leave any reviews unless the product is right at the top or the bottom of the scale. We bought different shaped tommee tippee bottles ( different type of cap because that’s where the problem is) and we had no problem with them,only these “closer to nature” shaped are the problem.

This pack comes with 6 complete bottles including slow flow teat (ideal for the first months), ring and lid.I hope they work as well for you and your little ones as they did for us!

I cannot re-iterate most of the other reviews enough. What a complete & utter waste of money these are. I used Tommee Tippee with my first two children & was pleased to find these littleAnti-colic ones for my third. As a new mum you’re in agony, stressed, emotional. And these bottles have made it ten times worse. Every time I made a feed I got soaked with milk, or when my baby started the feed she did. I had to hold a tea towel around the bottle. I have also then wasted half the milk because it’s gone all over the floor in the kitchen, on the sofa, over me & over baby.I have followed the instructions, the milk just pours out of the teat at the sides - whether you use the anti colic wheel or not (and my box was missing one anti colic wheel) or whether the milk is ... MoreI cannot re-iterate most of the other reviews enough. Could be better, too many bubbles due to valve

These bottles take aim at the Dr Brown bottles by implementing a straw that guides the return air to the bottom of the bottle. The idea is to avoid bubbles in the milk. Unfortunately, Tommee Tippee have fallen short but can improve their product.I liked the colour strips to help with temperature. The wide neck makes it easy to put a spoon or chopstick into the bottle to stir.I believe the valve is too stiff and slams shut quickly when the baby stops sucking. With no other path, air is drawn up through the teat. This is exactly what the design is supposed to avoid. Why have the valve? It's there to stop milk from moving up the stem while the bottle is standing up, and then pouring out when the bottle is at an angle. Easy to clean & Easier to use

So from start to finish, I have had nothing but an easy time dealing with this bottle type.I am able to take everything apart without having to question where or how things go back. I do not fight the nipple to be placed back in place. I am able to get in and clean/sanitize these bottles with no hassle. ( This is not always the case with some bottles that I have used.)My child is BF and when we introduced her to a bottle, it was when she started going to day care. We had her on a narrow bottle and had an extremely hard time feeding her. The breast-like feature in this bottle has saved me the hassle of baby forcing the nipple out of her mouth. I do not think it bothers my child or if she has noticed it...With final cleaning of this bottle - using both the sponge to get the insides and the bottle were easy to do. The bottom is slightly tapered so the sponge does not get stuck, and when using the brush for both the nipple and the bottle, I was able to touch every nook and cranny without having to over exert any efforts.I am giving this just 4 stars because I one small inconvenience to me... The nipple cover is nearly impossible to remove if you unscrewed the housing from the bottle itself. The top needs to be attached to the bottle before you take the nipple cover off to clean all the components.

Great bottles which baby accepted right away!

Great bottles with nice designs. Bottles are also nice to hold onto. We have combined breastfeeding and bottle feeding and baby accepted bottles from the first try. They also directly attach to the Tommee Tippee manual breast pump which allows to express milk straight into the bottles. Only downside is the lack of teat availability. Would be great to get to choose the teat size when buying bottles to prevent ending up with loads of size 1 teats and having to buy bigger teats separately. As well as, for a thicker liquids teat option to be available, as baby has started to have some baby porridge.

Great quality bottles

We have been using these bottles for a very long time and I m so impressed with how great the quality is and how they still look so new and well made. The unique short squat shape of the close to nature gives them a lot of advantages. The wide neck makes it easier to pour liquid and the nipple has a single vent that allows air in giving the baby fewer bubbles and less colic which is amazing and I m very thankful for. I also think the countoured shape Is more natural for babies to wrap their hands around once they can hold the bottle .The volume markings are very easy to tell no matter the lighting conditions. The bottles come in wonderful variety of amazing colors which is perfect and attractive as babies loves different colors . Leaks? YOUR NOT DOING IT RIGHT!

When putting these bottles together, they will leak if you do not put them together as intended. Make sure your nipple is actually pulled through correctly. I've mastered this bottle contraption for 3years. I know what I'm talking about. Best bottle advice ever here. This bottle is actually the best one on the market. The nipples are trash so I replaced them with the vented ones. The clear rubber flower that goes on the bottom of the airflow venting tube... Needs to be squeezed open after dried from cleaning. That's the most important part of the air flow valve. Then when putting lid on, back off (backwards/counter clockwise) until it drops down. That's when you know you've got it right. I've learned buying a tub that collapses in the sink with a little drain helps wash these bottles. I pop everything (I'm quick at it now) off and drop it all in the hot water with clear non scented toxic free soap. I would do this throughout the day. Let them all soak. Finish up at night. Hang dry on wrack. All good for the night and next day. I did buy about 12 9oz bottles and alot of the vented nipples in replacement of their crappy one that comes with this bottle. Made my life way easier. It sucks to clean. It's a legit job. But it was my savior and I'm thankful for these difficult contraptions. Make sure to double check the white circled wheel part before putting together. I've had t boil water once a week and soak them for a a few minutes to remove leftover particles that can make your baby sick. Do not rely on cleaning machines. This is a hand wash bottle only!!! That's a only warning from me. I also drilled a bigger hole in the bottle holder to fit the tubes in. I have a specific way to dry these. Works perfectly. Good luck!

Lip-tied babies unite!

There are several things I’m going to be touching on here, like: breastfeeding to bottle feeding transitions, lip ties and gas.Firstly, the nipple on the closer to nature bottles has been a lifesaver for switching between bottle and breastfeeding. There has been little issue with nipple confusion and switching around has been super easy. Next, my son has a lip tie and he has trouble latching on certain nipples of big name brands. However he has had no issue with latch with these nipples and has very little that spills out of his mouth. Perfect

I switched over to these bottles from dr. Browns bottles for my 5 month old and they changed his whole eating game. He was spitting up consistently, belching after every meal and his bottles would leak immensely. These bottles he has been eating so well on, almost never spits up anymore and his burps don’t provide spit up also because of the air flow on these. He was a preemie so he is still a bit small but these have helped him so much. The nipple is also supposed to mimic a breast so it’s easier for them to grip. I just love these bottles and this brand in general.
