Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Baby Bottle - 3pk - 5oz

Firstly I got the 4x 360ml self sterilising bottles for £23.49, but got the exact same from Tomme Tippees Amazon store for £13.99 so yeah, not sure why there was such a big difference. But I’m glad they came with test size 2 & not size 1. They’re easy to sterilise, similar process to MAMIA bottles. Glad Tommee Tippee decided to release self sterilising bottles. I find them annoying when they’re empty cause they fall over easily so don’t know if they need to be wider at the bottom as they seem too heavy, fine when they’ve got liquid in.

A good starter bottle for breastfed babies

I first liked the larger teat which was much more like a breast than other bottles I’d seen. Its shape is also comfortable for parents to hold and feed. My babies all took these bottles quite easily. They’re easy to clean and they are of good quality. I would recommend these to any first time parent looking for affordable but quality bottles with a more natural shape.

Excellent bottle but poor latch

These are great bottles, especially for newborns as they are a really small size. Therefore they don’t take up too much space in your changing bag when out and about.My baby, however, couldn’t latch on to this bottle very well. She did have a tongue tie that was separated yet she still dribbled milk everywhere when she drank. It never put her off drinking, however she did lose a lot of the milk through this. However, this is the only reason these bottles have lost a star in this rating because they’re great in every other aspect.They never leak when they are stored with milk in, so they truly are leakproof.The self sterilising feature is really helpful, as it means you don’t need an extra piece of equipment in the kitchen. Great bottle

I was lucky enough to receive the smaller size bottle in a bub box. I didn’t get to use the bottle until we switched to formula completely. I like how the bottle is wide and fits comfortably in the hand while feeding. The scale on the side is clear and easy to see. Fortunately we had no issues with bub using the bottle at 10 months old, he was very happy with the teat. Definitely a great bottle to use

After switching from breastfeeding to formula we starting using these bottles and they are the only ones bub liked. We have 3 different sized bottles which is great for as bub grows. They are easy to clean and take apart/put together. They are great value for money. The water level mark has stayed on the bottle perfectly despite being consistently washed which is amazing

My baby girl loves her Tommee Tippee bottles!

The Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles have been a fantastic choice for my baby girl, now 7 months, who was unable to directly breastfeed due to latching issues. She could feed from these bottles effectively on the first try. Using these bottles my baby was able to latch her mouth around the rounded teat. This ensured that milk would not leak out of the side of her mouth, which occurred with narrower bottles we tried.Initially the bottles come with a slow flow teat, which my daughter used until around 5 months of age. We then moved up to the medium and then fast flow teat at 7 months, which she is going very well with. However, this issue can be solved by ensuring that the anti-colic valve is opened after cleaning. Secondly, the very wide opening on the bottles means that they are not readily compatible with my Spectra pump. For this I need to use Avent bottles and transfer the milk into the Tommee Tippee.Overall, I have been very happy with the Closer to Nature bottle, and would definitely recommend for your bub.

Revolutionary

Really revolutionary product! Bottles that can self sterlise in the microwave perfect for on the go! East to fill and use when having access to a microwave without separating everything. A lot quicker than sterilising with other traditional methods. I was dubious about the self sterilising aspect, however, was exceptionally surprised how quick and easy the process is. Helpful to have the flow not working until baby sucks as breast feeding and did not want nipple confusion. Seems to be working well so far. Anti colic value is also fantastic and has helped reduced the amount of air that baby has taken in. Highly recommend this product.

Saves time, convenient to use

What a great idea! Wish these were invented with my first. We used these bottles from newborn and now using these with my second. The fact you can sterilise so quickly and easily is amazing!! In just 3 minutes it’s done. It will be so handy when out and about if you ever are out for longer than expected or baby needs more bottles than thought, then you can easily sterilise this knowing it’s safe!
