This is the first time I have used they anti-colic bottles combined with the colic soothe milk air extractor. I believe to gain the best results from these products are to use them together. My little one does suffer from colic, these bottles are highly recommended by myself and with the milk air extractor. Placing the milk in the air extractor first eliminates any air bubbles the milk has and the pouring the milk into the anti-colic bottles prevents any air forming in the milk whilst the baby is drinking. These are special bottles which take away the air from the milk. I have noticed a major difference with the baby and does not seems to cry in pain anymore. You do have to give the baby burps as usual but the crying whilst drinking is no longer present. Simply doesn’t work. Make up formula using prep machine, which inevitably leads to quite a bubbly formula, no matter how gently you swirl. So purchased this hoping to remove some of the gas bubbles from the bottle, as a less invasive option than something like infacole. Turn machine on, watch some of the bubbles rising up the bottle, but then nothing. You the have to leave it for a couple of minutes before venting the chamber to take the bottle out- quite frankly, it’s probably just the bottle sitting for a couple of minutes that helps remove some of the bubbles, but not nearly enough to have any sort of impact what so ever. Really disappointing results, and just another gadget to factor into the prepping process and carry around, for not a lot of difference. 100% ... MoreSimply doesn’t work. I was skeptical at first about getting this. Some reviews questioned the efficiency of this. There are reviews out there that mention the bubbles on top of the formula mix are still present. Not so sure the product actually did what it claimed. Removing air. I mean when it started to vacuum out the air from the container, the bubbles on top of the milk would expand and rise as they become bigger. Then when the process finished I let air back in the container, these bubbles remains visible except that they went back to original size due to pressure back to atmospheric pressure. So I don’t see that it actually did anything at all. I am mechanical engineer so I sort of know how these pressure thing works. Would not recommend unless you are desperate and need to try everything available in market.

This is such a useful product for babies experiencing gas and bloating. It’s so easy to use, with just one click it vacuums the air out of the milk bottle. It definitely helped to easy my baby’s discomfort caused by colic and reflux. Another thing I liked about this product that is 100% natural, there is no need to add anything to the milk. Colicsoothe is very lightweight, easy to carry and use. It is ideal for travelling as well because it does recharge with the USB cable. I would definitely recommend this product to parents, it does help babies experiencing colic symptoms in natural way.

[Rewarded Review] Fantastic bit of kit for babies with Colic!

So I was slightly skeptical about this product before I tried it. My little boy has suffered from colic from birth, albeit improved from when he was first born. I got the ColicSoothe out of the box and was impressed that it didn’t need to be plugged in and could be used wirelessly once charged. I plugged it in to charge and it was fully charged a couple of hours later. I decided to give it a go with my babies evening bottle before bed. I popped his bottle in the colicsoothe and pressed the button, it made a loud buzzing noise as it removed all of the air from the bottle and this continued for a while longer, I had to wait for the light to change colour and once it had changed I could released the lid by pressing the air button. You also need to read the instructions before use as I got a little confused a few times! I carefully gave my baby the bottle as shaking it would have added more air back in! Once I had given him the bottle I had notice an immediate difference in my baby, he didn’t spit up straight away like he normally does and didn’t burp as much, I can usually hear the milk in his tummy due to all the air but I couldn’t after using the colic soothe. Incase it was a fluke I have used the colic soothe a few times now over the past couple of weeks and I have to say I am really impressed. The only downside I would say is that it does take a few minutes to do, which when you have a baby crying for a bottle, it can be quite annoying needing to wait for it to finish the air removal cycle. It’s also not very portable, even though it can be used wirelessly, it’s bulky so to take it anywhere would take up a fair bit of space which is at a premium when you have a baby! Other pro’s are that it can be used with any brand of bottles, I’ve used it with both Tommee Tippee and other leading brands and it’s worked great with all of them! Definitely a gadget for me to save for whenever we have another baby as I wish we’d had this sooner!

[Rewarded Review] Rechargeable for on the go use
19 March 2024

With a colicy baby you will try anything to help relieve them. Really easy to use, you make up your feed and pop the bottle in the chamber, place the lid on and press the button. It takes 3 minutes for it to work, with its vacuum pump removing the air bubbles. Removing the lid and bottle, replace the teat, and youre ready to feed. But remember not to reshake the bottle. The chamber will fit most bottle types/brands, so not just limited to the tt bottles. With its rechargeable feature, youre able to take it out and about with you, not limited to just home use. Of course theres ways to prepare a feed with less bubbles to begin with, but with our prep machine, it does create alot of bubbles in the milk. The air remover is easy to use and does work well.

My baby suffers with a lot of wind, both top and bottom…so when I received this product I was excited but also sceptical. There’s no way a compact device could help. Well I am surprised (and happy) to confirm that it has actually helped! So while baby still has some wind (totally normal for a baby) she doesn’t have anywhere near as much as she did. And she doesn’t appear to be suffering with any trapped wind now. I have tested this with both formula and breast milk (yes breast milk gets air bubbles in it when it’s been swirled after separating) and it has helped with both. The device is incredibly easy to use. Just pop the bottle into the container, put the lid on and press the power button. Once finished press the power button again and then the air release button to allow you to remove the lid. All very easy to do, however, because the purpose of this device is to remove air from the bottle the lid is obviously very tight. The first time I used it I attempted to remove the lid and needed to use a little bit of strength to get it off which resulted in some spillage from the bottle. But if you’re prepared for this you may not have the same issue. The container was very easy to clean though. One other issue is if you’re using a smaller bottle like I am in the pictures then it requires slightly more effort to remove the bottle as you have to attempt to fit your hand in. Other than those 2 “issues” I am happy to keep using this product. The benefits have definitely been worth the extra little effort.
