This is the first tommee tippee breast pump iv tried after having problems with different brands in the past. I must say i am sold and now a tommee tippee covert. It is almost silent when using both massage and let down phases. A slight vibrate which would NOT wake up a newborn. I have used roughly 5 or 6 times before writing the review to ensure i was correct. The battery is still at 2/3 bars after all this time. I have literally charged it once. The first charge did take a good couple of hours, but its worth the wait. The pump has a small carrying handle for ease of getting around whilst pumping. Its also small enough for most handbags and changing bags. Everyone should try this pump. Fantastic.

I have breastfed 3 children, so pumping has been a big part of my life in recent years. I have used a single electric pump and now a double electric pump. I was sent this tommee tippee pump from Boots review panel and was excited to try it. The pump is lightweight and the USB charger makes charging on the go simple. It's a bit noisy but I think many pumps will be. I didn't find that it held a charge very long and needed to charge after each pumping session in order for it to be strong enough to actually pump any milk out. I have a fairly good supply (able to produce 4 oz per session/per breast with my other pumps) and really struggled to get more than an ounce out of this pump. I don't think it is as powerful as others on the market, and because of this I do think ... MoreI have breastfed 3 children, so pumping has been a big part of my life in recent years. Tiny sized pump, works well, a full charge lasts five 20 minute sessions, not too noisy, battery operated makes it easy to use, happy to receive at discounted online sales price. All positive about Tommee Tippee's product.About Asda's product price, I would like the online sales discounted price to be available also if the product is already available in nearby store's shelf. It would save Assa shipping costs and me (the customer) waiting time. Argos/Currys does click and collect immediately! So this could be possible :)

Great little pump

I have an older Tommee Tippee pump but love that this one has a battery, makes it much easier to use and the unit is really neat and easy to carry around. The first charge took a lot longer than the 40 minutes in the instructions so bear that in mind!Suction seems good, it does seem like the unit it putting a fair bit of effort in when you get to the highest setting. I didn't like that it pauses as you change the level, my old one didn't do that. But it's a really simple pump, it's easy to take apart and put back together. It's a shame it doesn't come with a stand or the converter ring for the bags.I'd have liked to get a plug or a longer cable, I know it's designed to be used on battery but if you did need it while it was charging it would be super awkward to ... MoreI have an older Tommee Tippee pump but love that this one has a battery, makes it much easier to use and the unit is really neat and easy to carry around. The first charge took a lot longer than the 40 minutes in the instructions so bear that in mind!Suction seems good, it does seem like the unit it putting a fair bit of effort in when you get to the highest setting. But it used the older standard USB so easy to get another cable.

Great little pump
30 November 2021

I had a hospital grade double pump for use at home but wanted something a little more discreet for when I went back to work, so did some research and found the Tommee Tippee single electric pump. It was a good price (I got it on sale) and I liked the size and how portable it was immediately. It turned out to be really handy - it was quiet enough and efficient, and most importantly, it did the job. I liked playing around with the different settings to get the right one for me too. It definitely helped me pump and give my baby breast milk for longer. The USB charging was great, and we were already using Tommee Tippee bottles so that made it simple to use, too.Overall a handy little pump that worked well for what I needed it for.

Review of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Pump Complete Breastfeeding Kit

Really happy with this product. It’s easy to use at home and on the go. Only dislikes are the battery life of the power pack, I think it’s sn hour or so maybe which when pumping for 30 mins at a time means it needs to be kept well charged. However this is easy enough with usb and can of course use it while on charge too.The bottle/food Warmer is a great addition. Only wish is that it had timer function included so that you knew how long the bottle/food was warming without needing a separate device such as phone timer to keep a track of that.Overall, I’m really happy with this and would recommend.

So Easy
17 August 2021

Originally I wanted a pump for work so I could maintain my supply while I wasn't at home. Never did I think this would end up being a life saver for me. My baby was a terrible latcher from the start and even with things like nipple shields he was still fussy. Most feeds were not just stressful but overwhelming for both of us and he never seemed fully satisfied. So at 3 weeks I made the decision to exclusively pump and bottle feed. I didn't want to opt for formula without getting the most out of my breast milk first and so far this has worked a treat. I pump after almost every feed and get anywhere from 60-120mls per boob so there's always plenty to make up a bottle, he is much happier for it, as am I since making the transition. My only complaint is that the pump is quite tedious to pull apart and put back together and it can become a bit of a chore when I have to clean it after each use. This pump also isn't convenient for what I had originally intended it for, not that I've had a chance to test it because of covid but if it's fiddly to maintain at home I can't imagine this would become easier at work.

Terrible on every possible level
18 November 2022

This pump isn't fit for purpose. I bought it while I was pregnant as it was the most readily available, making me believe it would be a good product. This pump has terrible battery life, the flange is huge and takes in almost my entire boob, the seal is non existent meaning I get 50/50 milk in the bottle and down my torso. It's disappointing on a good day but soul destroying most of the time. If I could buy them all just so that other expectant mums wouldn't fall into the same trap I did, I absolutely would.

This pump saved breastfeeding for me!
24 February 2022

We bought this pump on the way home from the hospital with our baby boy. Our son was born via C-section and in the first few days (in hospital and at home), I struggled to learn to breastfeed. Using this pump after each feed was highly effective in building supply when transitioning from colostrum to milk and allowed me to feed expressed milk to my baby when breastfeeding just wasn't going to plan. As a result of using this pump, I built up enough supply that have a freezer full of expressed breast milk for day trips. Without this pump, I wouldn't have lasted 2 weeks of breastfeeding and I've kept going for 5 months so far!My son took the bottles straight away and the pump enabled my husband to be in charge of one feed a day so I could have a break. The portability of the pump means I can express on long car trips to Sydney. 5 months on, as my son is sleeping more at night, I still use the pump for 15-20 minutes after each feed to maintain supply and can express up to 80ml each side in only 10 minutes.

Tommee Tippee double electric breast pump
4 November 2021

Being a first time mum, I needed to invest in a breast pump that was going to be quick, reliable and function on battery. I purchased the Tommee Tippee Made for Me Double Electric Pump by chance, as it was the only one on sale at Baby Bunting. The pump is portable, not loud at all and able to remove as much of my breast milk in a gentle and comfortable manner. There are two settings; one that mimics a baby sucking and the other, a stronger suction. I always use the maximum suction on both settings; I start my cycle using the setting mimicking a baby sucking and finish the cycle using stronger suctions. The flang on the cup is large enough for any breast size and my nipples do not shear through the barrel. The battery lasts a reasonable amount of time and time can continue pumping while charging. The pump sits compactly in my relatively large hand bag with nappies, change mat, wipes and nappy bags. I highly recommend this pump for new mothers.
