After trying so many and more expensive bottles and anti colic teats, i settled for tommee tippee. These have the basic anti colic teats with a valve, you need to be careful as the baby sometimes might cover it with her lip, but thats easily avoidable and perhaps depends on how the baby is used to sicking on these. I find that they arent any less efficient than the advanced anti colic bottles for the same brand, which in turn take a lot longer to clean due to all the parts. These teats have seen my baby feeding for 4 months now and they are still going fine, though oerhaps i will switch to a greater flow soon, these are slow flow for newborns. I had the Medela anti colic teats at the beginning, which are so much more expensive, and they in time due to use have lost their integrity and were letting out a mich greater flow that choked my baby and had given him a lot of colic issues until we figure dout what the issue was! I havent had this problem with these, which in the beginning i was using only with formula, now i use them for breastmilk as well and have ditched the others. Cant really imagine how these would ever go bad unless you decide to replace the plastics at some point. All in all, i am extremely happy with them and would not use anything else for my baby.
