I was thrilled find a natural version of a popular anticavity fluoride mouthwash. I really wanted to avoid the artificial colouring, sorbitol and other ingredients I don't want to use. Tom's to the rescue! So happy they make a natural mouthwash that contains fluoride. For years I avoided fluoride wanting to be as natural as possible, but now I understand the benefits to using it strategically (like in a mouthwash but still absolutely keeping it out of my drinking water). Almost through my first bottle, and my teeth feel great, the mouthwash tastes great. Will keep using!

So I've only used it once, I just got it today. Which is the only reason I gave four stars. But from the one use it definitely leaves my breath feeling nice and refreshed, the mint flavor to me wasn't too overpowering, i also thought it was nice that I had an easy time swishing. With mouthwash like listerine i hardly ever made it to the time limit because it was too intense. The more I use this I'll gather some more information and write another review.

GROSS TASTE/SMELLS LIKE A FART! It is now about 5 years after some of the same negative reviews on this product. I have liked the other Tom’s mouthwash, NOT this total care. I used it only twice. Immediately it tasted awful, chemically and salty like. I tried it again a second day only this time took a sniff of the bottle and it stinks like a fart! No lie. It is disgusting and hopefully I can get my money back from where I bought it. Now I don’t even want their other products any more after this experience. I actually had to brush my teeth again after using it and rinsed my mouth with a lot of water. What the heck is going on? Is the plastic bottle to blame? Where is quality control? Disgusting!

Great minty flavor, but not too overpowering. Includes fluoride in the ingredients which is great for keeping your teeth clean. Large sized bottle that lasts quite a while. This brand is also cruelty free certified which means they don't test on animals. Good quality product that I would buy again and recommend to others to buy.
I actually hate peppermint, but this is more of a clean mint, so really nice surprise. Its a fairly large bottle so will last quite some time. My family struggles with bad breath (don't we all) and it works very well. It leaves your mouth feeling free and clean as well. It is not too flavored that it leaves too much of a taste either. Definitely makes your mouth and teeth feel clean!
I must say I enjoy the Silly Strawberry flavor much more, but I am not sure it has enough protection for an adult. I appreciate the design of the bottle whereas the Silly Strawberry Mouthwash has the face on the strawberries. To vegans, the slogan to remember and pass along is we eat nothing “ with a face”! This makes me wonder if there’s any non vegan additives in the childrens formulas that all have faces on the fruit. The after taste of this Whole Care mouthwash is very minimal and therefore doesn’t interfere with eating. Good price!
I'm still considering this mouth wash. I like that it has fluoride for my teeth, even though I filter fluoride out of my drinking water. It seems more of a tooth treatment than a mouth wash. The taste is ok, but not as strong as my old favorite in a glass bottle-Tooth and Gums Tonic- which is expensive.
I have a chronic immune condition that affects my gums. This mouthwash is not only nonirritating, it soothes and heals my gums when they are blistered and/or inflamed.The flavor is a subdued mint. Tom's also provides all the conventional benefits of a regular mouthwash. I like the company's commitment to the environment and social justice.
I bought this Tom's of Maine Fresh Mint Flouride Free Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste recently because I wanted to switch away from Flouride and harmful SLS, and try a more natural approach. First thing I noticed is this toothpaste doesn't foam like traditional toothpaste, but I didn't mind that at all. It made my teeth feel extremely smooth and clean, and it did not feel abrasive like other toothpastes. The mint flavor was not what I was expecting, it wasn't a sweet mint but it also was very mild and not overpowering. It took a day or two to get used to this, but overall it was pleasing. Unfortunately after using it for 3 weeks, my sensitivity returned and I have had to switch back to a different brand of toothpaste, but my husband really likes this one and I ... just a good mouthwash. i bought it to try to get some extra fluoride since japan has basically no fluoride (and my teeth have been paying the price lol), and it seems to be doing the job. i’m using it along with intensive repair toothpaste so it’s hard to tell how much it’s working, but it’s definitely good.price is good for the large size. good taste, quality, etc. and my teeth feel nice. i also love that it has xylitol AND fluoride!!
