TomTom Go Superior 7 Accessories

Nice and clear routing on a large screen and I like that you can pre plan routes and add destinations using the my drive app which then automatically transfers to the device when used. I have a built in car satnav which is pretty useless and with the TomTom I can just transfer it to any vehicle I own. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

I cannot recommend this product to anybody else, as much as I have always preferred the Tom-Tom approach, map design and algorithms. Anyone considering purchase should note that there are reports online from the USA that suggest Tom-Tom have given up the commercial fight with Google Maps etc, and seem to have no intention of any further development once they stop selling this current version.That said, the 7" format is much better, brilliantly visible when one looks briefly at the screen whilst also keeping eyes on the road. The new feature of emphasising the approach to turns with moving indicators was worth doing. But their apparent decision to accept that Google have won, means that their hearts are just not in it anymore.If anybody comes back to me to prove me wrong on what I am saying, I shall be delighted. But I found the large national chain I bought this product from have already lost interest themselves, not willing to supply spare cradle or anything else, and I suspect they have seen the writing on the wall too.
