Toni & Guy Damage Repair Conditioner for Damaged Hair 250 ml

I have highlighted hair and it can feel quite dry and unhealthy at times. It can also be quite frizzy if not conditioned well. I found this conditioner left my hair feeling smooth, helping with the frizz, and also soft and with a healthy shine. The conditioner has a nice fragrance. I did feel I needed slightly more product than I would usually use to get a good result. Overall though, I liked this conditioner and would use it again. #banishbrassy

Review - I have used purple shampoo for a long time, I mainly use Fudge but have also tried Elvive. I don’t usually use a purple conditioner though. This product doesn't have much of a smell to it but at least it doesn't smell like dye. The conditioner wasn't as thick as I like it so I worried that it wouldn't be as nourishing to the ends of my hair which can suffer with dryness. After drying my hair it feels and looks in good condition, and the ends don't feel particularly dry. So as a general conditioner It works but silver tones just do not show. This product hasn't left any brassy tones in my hair but it hasn't highlighted my silver streaks which is disappointing for me. I have my hair balayage’d and always worried for the brassy colour- but this, so far is a great purple conditioner on the market. Good sized bottle too, doesn’t clutter up the shower cubicle or at the bath side, and looks smart with the graphics and colour to depict of the modern brand I know and love. A great duo for a purple shampoo conditioner to go for.

I tested this product alongside the shampoo. I used the shampoo first and then followed with the conditioner. My hair felt so soft after using and it took away the brassy yellow colour in my hair. I continue to use this product for a few weeks and I really noticed a difference in my colour. And my hair was silky smooth and so healthy looking. I would highly recommend this product as it is unlike any other purple shampoo conditioner on the market.

I was asked to review the Toni and Guy Purple conditioner alongside the matching shampoo. First impressions are great with this conditioner and definitely looks like an expensive conditioner. The conditioner itself is light purple on colour and smells easily nice. It is nice and thick and leaves your hair feeling soft and shiny. However there is some time required during washing as it needs some time to work it’s magic so definitely wouldn’t be something I would use everyday. However I that it does what it sets out to and does leave my hair less brassy and yellow inbetween colouring. It is quite expensive and this would put me off buying in future with the shampoo. However I would definitely buy this with the shampoo if this was on offer in my local supermarket

My new favourite haircare routine. ToniGuy new purple shampoo conditioner with pearl extracts which helps remove brassy tones. I received these full sized products from Influenster campaign in order to testreview. I think it's fab. My hair is so soft shiny. This combination works so well together. I have used other purple shampoos in the past this one made a difference to my brassy highlights after the first wash, must be the keratin and pearl extracts. Toni Guy are a quality brand and you can tell they have invested in the success of this product which works well. I highly recommend and will probably be buying more. I really enjoyed using this #conditioner. I found the texture very creamy, so just perfect for my hair. I do suffer with split ends and to have quite a few repaired was just fab. Normally, when I do brush my hair wet, all I get is knots but this time around the brush went through very calmly. No pulling on the brissels of my brush, nothing, just simply brushing with no knots or pulls. I also think my hair has gone up a tone lighter by using this perfect product. So a big thankyou to @influencer for giving me the opportunity to use the #complimentary #sample I got sent. Plus I'm also giving @toniguyworld a big thumbs up too. My hair now feels much better and manageable.

I spent more time on the shampoo page as I’ve usually found the purple conditioners to be less effective. That was also the case here. You just don’t really need a purple conditioner if your purple shampoo works. Your conditioner should focus on your other hair needs in my experience. I’m short, I have to say, I didn’t enjoy the products and I don’t think that I’ll finish them. The conditioner effected my hair less badly than the shampoo, but it still didn’t really condition. It’s main job! My hair was left feeling dry and had lost its normal swishyness (!?) and shine. I’ve found a high street shampoo product that delivers far better and it costs a fraction of the price. For ref. My hair is normally oily at the roots and dry down the lengths. But rarely requires much styling for it to look healthy. These products just made it look quite bad - unless I’d straightened it. But even then, it didn’t hold its smooth style as usual. It did smell expensive and had a nice weight to the bottle. It was sturdy in the shower and didn’t stain anything. I went into this with high hopes. Not a winner from me I’m afraid, check out your local supermarket / drug store instead.

I recently had a few highlights put through my hair, and because my natural hair is so dark, lightened hair tends to go brassy/yellow fairly quickly on me. I have used purple shampoos and conditioners before for this reason, but I was blown away at how shiny and soft this one left my hair. I will definitely keep these in my bathroom for when I need to get rid of the brassy/yellow tones.
