Bits of wool comes out and is on everything, in less than 1 month of use. I tot it was coming off a pyjamas as it was full of these little hairs, only to realise its actually from the quilt when I was changing the cover. Too bad no returns on quilts.
As per item description, very happy with ourTontine 500gsm wool quilt. Not too heavy, but nice and warm. Purchased King Bed size for the Queen bed.
This has been an excellent purchase. We swapped it for our feather down one. I got sick of all the tiny feathers. I do recommend airing it out for a few days, the lanolin smell is strong.
Best night's sleep I've ever had. I've not had a wool quilt before so I didn't know what to expect, then I visited a family member and we slept under wool. Well that was all that was needed to spur me on to purchase a wool quilt. No regrets.
I buy this every year because it's a great winter doona.But this year I find it's a bit lighter than normal. Same packaging and same weight but just seems bit lighter on the bed.Apart from that... great value that I bought 2.
After buying the same brand over the last 15 years I saw this online and being 500gsm thought this will be warm. Initially I thought my choice was not good. I was use to a quilt with weight and this was so light. Took me a few nights to get use to weight but I was warm. Now I am so pleased I got it and gave it ago. Nearly gave away after first night.
Wow. I live in a cold apartment and this doona keeps me warm all night. Last winter I slept with an old poly filled doona and two blankets and I was still cold!! If you're looking for a warm doona, get this one!!
