Apart from this it is a great bag and would recommend it.

Bag for life… another Screwfix deal saving lives of the carpentry trade. Can’t help but shed a tear, when me and my new bag walks on site and all the other tradesman can’t help but check out my new bag. It really is the star of the show. Also very stylish. Goes well with my Paignton lofas, and a cute top…

This bag is fantastic value for money, I like the build quality of it, which has that well put together Stanley feel about it.The size is good, in that when you load it, you can pick it up, (sometimes you can have too much space), in these tool bags! What I don’t like about it, is that the external pockets are way too small for certain stuff, especially spray cans for example, you can’t get them into the pockets, they just not wide or deep enough for certain stuff.IMHO, it would be better to have less external pockets and more capacity per each one and one with a zip compartment.Other then that, it is a great bag and happy with the purchase.

Great tool bag
30 June 2021

Bought this mainly for those little jobs that don't require many tools, or just require basic tools that I can quickly load up from my tool box in the van without ever needing to bring the whole box. In the end i actually bought extra tools for this bag and now use it as a grab bag straight from my van. It's an amazingly well built sturdy bag. It holds the tools well and has plenty of organisation. I would definitely recommend this bag, especially as a grab bag for small jobs.

Perfect for an electrician
27 October 2020

This tool bag is very ideal for an electrician. It has enough pockets inside and out to organise tools and electrical accessories. It also has zip pockets which come in handy. I have stored all the tools that I would use on a daily basis and I can now find them easily without rummaging through like I did with my previous tool box. The bag is very sturdy and easy to carry.I have come across reviews which read that the pockets are too shallow and some have lost tools because of it falling out. I wouldn’t recommend storing larger tools like wrenches, large screwdrivers etc in the outside pockets. I have used the outside pockets for smaller tools like pliers, Stanley knives and generally small to medium items - they fit in perfectly and are secure enough for them not ... MoreThis tool bag is very ideal for an electrician. (Moral of the story, don’t store larger tools in the outside pockets otherwise they may fall out and/or you may end up losing them)Overall, I’m very glad that I invested in this. Having my tools organised has made life much easier.

Sides keep caving in!
31 August 2022

Price wise and feature wise this looks good however once I got it home it's a different story. The sides of the bag keep caving in on themselves and you can't see what you've got inside. The whole point of a tool bag / box is to be able to see what tools you have and for them to be accessible. Found this extremely annoying, returned it and bought a different one.

Stanley Fatmax 18” tool bag
14 December 2022

I’ve been meaning to tidy up my tools for a while. Needed a bag for all the popular bits I use most frequently. Given the price and brand, this certainly fits the bill. If I were earning a living through my tools I’d probably pay a bit more for a reinforced sided bag as they it does droop, but it’s a small point for what I need it for. Time will tell as to durability.

Stanley tool bag

Great tool bag for it’s money unfortunately for me I had to purchase from another supplier as I wanted that day as a present so paid more . It is ideal as a first tool bag with lots of pockets and a hard bottom to protect from dirt and water , plus other tool bags often split at the corners have a time of being put down . I bought this one and a few tools for my niece who is moving away . Was asked to put a few things together for putting flat packs together so thought I would put them in the bag as a gift. She was over the moon

Strong and comfortable to carry
19 February 2023

Easily holds my three drills, wall plugs and screws as well as extra hand tools. The pockets are ideal for small cases and stud detectors and laser measurers. Best part it’s length is the same as my width, so when the case is behind me, it doesn’t damage the walls of the stairs.

The only bag I use
17 February 2019

Had a few of these over the years and I’m always happy to buy a new one. They’re a good size without being bulky to carry. It fits all my regularly used hand tools, including a 400mm box level, toolbox saw and my combi and impact. Although the zip doesn’t do up once the latter two are in there but i can live with that. There’s a fair amount of pockets around the outside for screwdrivers, spanner’s, pencils etc and enough pockets inside to keep smaller items separated and findable. The fabric is really strong, I’ve had the occasional chisel poke through butvthatsvmore down to my careless packing away. Can’t really comment on the shoulder strap as I don’t like them and always take it off straight away. The plastic base means I can set it down outside without ... MoreHad a few of these over the years and I’m always happy to buy a new one. It also stops the bottom from becoming saggy when laden with weight... it’s the little things. All in all a great bag at a great price, I’ve never had to replace one for failure, Jill.
