Love it! Does exactly what it should. Was unable to change a flat tyre using the vehicle supplied spanner. No longer an issue with this breaker bar!... Show more

I bought two of these breaker bar about 3 years ago, and I have to admit it is quite good. The first one I bought, I actually bent, however, I was undoing a 40mm bolt that
would normally require a 3/4" or 1" drive breaker bar. To the breaker bars credit, the tool did not break, and manage to undo the but, but was bent. To this is very impressive,
despite the tool not being designed for this sort of use.Would recommend if you want a tool to thrash and not worry too much if it breaks or gets stolen.

Great bar for tough wheel nuts but not unbreakable. The good news is Supercheap replaced the broken bar quickly under warranty. For extra heavy duty work get the longer
thicker bar.

Great for really stuck bolts like brake brackets
5 March 2021
Was having a terrible time getting the brake caliper bolts off and this breaker bar did the job easily. Get the longest bar you can that'll fit under the car, the leverage comes from the length - the longer the bar, the more leverage, the less force you need to apply. The Toolpro bar is high quality and looks great hanging from the garage toolrack.... Show more

Helped me 9/10 times!
5 December 2022
Bought this around 3 months ago - it has been a great addition to the toolkit and has helped me get unstuck from many situations when working on my car.PLEASE NOTE - similar to other reviews here, mine snapped right near the head when I was tightening down an axle nut. Luckily it snapped right at the end of working on my car when everything was back together! So objectively it's a great tool, but for huge torque applications I'd suggest something stronger or perhaps a high torque impact wrench.Thankfully it has a good warranty!... Show more

Helped me out in a tricky spot!
25 May 2021
Decided to do an oil drive way oil change on my wife's 2002 C240 Merc on ramps. Oil drain plug (13mm) was stuck fast, even an 18V cordless impact wrench wouldn't budge it. The 600mm breaker bar undid it with ease and saved the day. Was going to buy the 750mm, but didn't have the clearance for that under the car on ramps. Very happy!... Show more

Quality seems OK, compact.
22 October 2018
Just bought this today as previously I just hit my ratchet with a hammer, or put a bit of pipe on for an extension. Nice and short in the head part which means it will fit in tight places and isn't too long either. For wheel nuts, I just use the cars spanner and put my foot on and use my weight to loosen. Easy. Can't do that on caliper bolts or in the engine bay though. Nice quality, looks OK. Cost $12 with my members discount. Thanks Supercheap.... Show more

right tool for the job!

I have a 2wd dual cab Amarok with 16 inch wheels. The original wheel spanner that came with the ute is such a sloppy fit on the heads of the wheel studs as to be virtually unusable. I bought a 350mm breaker bar to replace it and this served me quite well until the pin securing the i/2 inch drive to the bar worked loose. This resulted in one side of the claw breaking off the bar. Prior to failing, the trouble with the 350mm bar was that if my studs had been tightened by rattle gun, I had to use an extension pipe to apply that bit extra leverage to loosen them. With the 600mm ToolPRO I have plenty of leverage to both tighten and loosen the tightest wheel studs without the need for an extension pipe. Worked on bus lugs
20 June 2021
I had some very rusty and corroded 37mm lugs to remove from my project bus home. Soaked in penetrant, I got a couple of nuts of and it snapped at the base of the cube that connects sockets etc. So ran back to shop and they replaced it on the spot for free. So then I piled up bits of wood to meet the wrench to redirect the force. I got all 20 rusty lugs off using the right technique. I jumped on it for everyone and it didn't snap a second time around. Such a relief to have those lugs off, happy I got the tool.... Show more
