Value for money is nothing more just a big bonus here, this is a quality unit. I use mine in a commercial automotive servicing environment and it fulfils my needs perfectly.Drawer action is nice and smooth, even with a full drawer of various socket sets.I have the matching Tool Chest on top, and the unit is still very stable on flat ground, and reasonable on concrete pavers too.The large wheels are not rubberised, but the "mags" look good, hopefully i can transfer the mag part to a set of rubberised wheels later on down the track. The EVA matts in the bottom of the drawers do slide a little, but nothing a bit of Contact Adhesive spray (or any other rubbery glue) cant fix.The shape of it is a point of interest too, The octagonal cut-corner shape (designed to ... MoreValue for money is nothing more just a big bonus here, this is a quality unit. Of course none of my co-workers even mentioned my new tool chest (cos that would be admitting the expensive brand name ones they're still paying off on payment plans) were no better than mine, but from the corner of my eyes I could see the drool of jealousy starting to dribble from the corner of their mouths. The shallow drawers are good for most hand tools, and the deeper drawers are perfect for larger tools.I have a few of those long thin fridge organiser trays in the bottom drawer, creating dividers perfect for organising the inevitable clutter of electrical wire and cable ties, random bolts (sadly I need an entire wheel barrow just for my nuts) and all the other "stuff" that goes with repair work. And being bright red means it is very visible, so its less likely my co-workers will reverse into it when bringing cars into the workshop.NOTE: when this is stacked with the matching tool chest, this becomes a rather tall unit.At 5'11.99" tall, i have no issues with the height, but i have to lift my little Asian buddy up on my shoulders so he can see the top shelf. I would have a hands-on with the full unit before buying if I were less than 5'6" tall or so.

Having already owned a tool chest similar to the one designed to go on top, Ive wanted one of these for ages to finally have a spot for ALL of my tools. And this tool cabinet doesn't disappoint! Although they operate well and are adequate for the task, I would consider the drawer slides the weakest link. Only judging by appearance but I would certainly be cautious of overloading the larger drawers.Overall I consider the tool cabinet to be of unbeatable value at the price I paid - On special, half price. I can't fault it but would nonetheless be reluctant to pay the full price. For that amount I'd probably expect extra accessory's such as the peg board hooks and an overkill in build quality ie. heavier duty draw slides.

I recently purchase this item with the matching top chest during a 50% off sale making it great value.Overall the unit is good quality with nice solid drawer slides and overall it feels like a solid unit. The drawers have minimal slop in them when opened and shut securely when closed. This unit is quite heavy when packed but still rolls around pretty easily on my shed floor. One thing I found with the bigger box is that the foam inserts and tool sets SCA sell don't fit the drawers in the larger box as they are too narrow. They fit the middle size box with wider drawers. Probably something SCA need to look at if they want people using their tools and inserts in their tool boxes.I spent a lot of time looking around at tool chest and tool boxes and value for money ... MoreI recently purchase this item with the matching top chest during a 50% off sale making it great value.Overall the unit is good quality with nice solid drawer slides and overall it feels like a solid unit. Sure there are probably better brands around but you will pay significantly more for them and most people would likely not get any benefit. Save you money, buy one of these and spend the extra on new tools!Only issue I found with this is the packaging is a little lacking and the top lip of the bottom box was slightly bent when I got the box off of it. Also one of the drawer handles had a small dent in it. Lip on the box was wasy fix though and I just bent the lip back out. Dent is still there but it is a tool box so likely to get more with use.

Great buy
12 January 2023

Great price, Very happy with purchases. Bought the matching chest drawer and 28 inch chest 4 draw and cabinet 6 draw. Husband very happy. Easy to put together. Very sturdy cabinets. Highly recommend. Even more happy that there's no more clutter or junk tool boxes in shed.

Very nice quality. Easy purchase process. I am also grateful to the staff that helped me load the item into my ute. I am mainly using this Cabinet for Power tools so the deeper drawers compared to most alternative products suits my needs.

Well built. Solid drawers that roll effortlessly. Rubber top & liners are great too. Has made a huge difference to being organised in my shed for various tools & consumables.

The width allows for longer tools which is great. However given the HIGH price, I had expected this tool cabinet to be sturdier. It is made of very thin sheet metal and the caster wheels are plastic. The drawer slides should be better quality - as is, you must open and close drawers right in the middle because otherwise they will twist and jam. Undoubtedly this yields a tidy profit for SCA; wish more of my money had gone towards material quality.

Pretty Good

I did a lot of research on this on you tube experiences. Most reviews said it was great. It is a good unit but has a few issues. Firstly the wheels don't support it too well as it wobbles from a weak base frame. I have it just sitting against the wall with wheels locked and the frame flex's where the wheels mount. Not a major issue but one to be wary of if you want to cart it around. I might chock some timber under it instead. 2nd is the drawer rails are good but not fantastic. I have a Sidchrome unit sitting on top of it and you can tell the difference. Still not a major issue since it is a cheaper unit. I covered the front of he handles with 3d vinyl wrap to cover the printed logos on them so I could add my own labels. Good size drawers that open all the way and the finish of paint quality is excellent. I also bought the socket set EVA kit too. Its a little bit smaller than the tray itself but I wedged it in place using some of the white packing foam that was in the box. I got it on sale for $389 so Im happy. Does the job.

Solid cabinet that is good value on sale
15 April 2020

Comparing this cab to others available for a similar price (at other establishments) what is immediately evident is it weighs quite a bit more. This manifests in a well built and robust feeling cabinet. Castors are ok and roll reasonably well. Drawers and lock feel solid. Construction details are nice. The only thing I would change is the force the drawers pull closed with. Its quite strong and opening a drawer can actually pull the cabinet towards you if castors are unlocked (or even if they are and the wheels swivel). Conversely the drawers snap home quite firmly. Maybe more of a problem if lightly laden such as mine is.

Very good and pairs well with the tool box
18 June 2021

Very good tool cabinet, has ample space in it and rolls around smoothly. The handle can be fitted to either side.I've seen other more expensive brands and this is much better. The only thing it doesn't have are the soft close drawers. Besides that it is absolutely fantastic. I did purchase it at 40% off so at that price there is no comparison
