This little unit is slightly better than many other chinese made things. Purchased as an impulse at the checkout where they place many things strategically to try to appeal to the ADHD in all of us.It just so happened that I needed a light source while changing a slip joint boot later that day, and this saved me a trip home to get a real one.The tail cap locks more positively than most saving the resulting ejection (aka exploding) battery compartment that resembles an improperly handled bulk fill grease gun during refilling. So I may get a second to hide in the toolbox as an emergency spare. For everything else, I'll use my maglight

Very bright light with a durable pen type click on/off button at the top. It can fit in your top pocket for easy access. It has a magnet on the swivel pocket clip which allows for placement on a metal surface in a convenient location. I use it all the time in my day to day work.

I have 2 and brought another for my elderly mother. They are fantastic, imo.I use rechargeable batteries and whilst I don't use it every day and when I do it's only to look for something in the dark. It's lasts for months. I did have to replace my mother one as I think she dropped it one too many times. Highly recommended

Lightweight and slim enough to get into difficult spaces. Appears durable. Very bright beam with broad spectrum. Unable to gauge life of batteries. Will most likely renew with rechargeable batteries.
Small but useful, stick almost any where, mudguard for tyre change, under hood or elsewhere. Good magnet and swivels to suit. Got one a year ago and recently got one each for my kids for their cars, in case of breakdown at night.
I bought this little light about a year ago when i was doing some engine work on my car. The light isnt that bright, hence a star missing. Now 3 weeks ago i decided to do a oil and transmission fluid check at night, and pulled this little guy out and stuck it to my bonnet to get some light, all good, topped up the fluids and forgot about it. Today, while checking out why one of my bulbs wasnt working (loose connect, all fixed) i went to close the bonnet and noticed it...my little light has been hanging on for dear life for 3 weeks, driving 40-50km a day and yet it stuck . No rattling. Nothing. I cant believe it stuck for so long and better yet it still works after all the engine heat. And the rain. For the $3 (on special) when i bought it. Its worth it
Bright light when first purchased, very sensitive and does not cope with engine bay use. One knock and itβs playing up. Needs a hit now every time on a hard surface to get it to work properly. Cheap is not always the way.
Good little light with magnet that swings to direct the light.bought one to have source off light in car then need and week after I bought another one for shed .These things are cheap and small but despite that they put out decent amount of light from 3x AAA batteries
light is average, battery life is reasonable.magnets are weak, battery cover is even weaker..when, not if, when you drop it, cos the magnets are so weak, the cap that holds the batteries in will go flying cos it has about 0.25mm of plastic as a latch.
Brilliant lighting solution- takes 3 AAA batteries and will work ALL night. I use a number of these when camping as when linked together they provide outstanding lighting and take up very little space when packing up and transporting. Strong magnet attaches to any steel frame your tent/ gazebo vehicle etc. Forget crappy chinese rechargeables which simply fail long term. A ten dollar 20 pack of AAA's and four of these will solve most camping/fishing lighting problems when spaced out and elevated in the area to be illuminated- simply the best space/weight bang for buck option when camping.
