I just started to use them so not sure on how long they will last but in looking at the quality it appears they will be lifetime. They also have lifetime warranty. Seem to be good quality but the latch on the box is faulty and totally useless. Otherwise a bit heavy but i abuse my tools badly. They are for the truck and i will get another set for the other one . Pity about the latch

Nice sockets, very annoying case, 125mm extension has very loose fit.The sockets have a nice design, similar to flank drive sockets: with more contact area and further from the corners than both a standard 6-point socket and the regular ToolPRO 12-point sockets, so should be good at preventing damage to bolts. I accidentally used the 22mm to tighten a 21mm wheel nut, and it worked with no problems or rounding. The textured grip makes it a bit easier to spin the socket (without ratchet) on a bolt, but not as much as I'd like: I'd like to see a more aggressive texturing. It opens for servicing, with Torx 10 screws. It has a plastic grip, which you may or may not like.The breaker bar is a nice 300mm size, which will fit where longer breaker bars don't fit, and has a fairly tight joint. In my view it would be nice if it were around 2" longer, to give a foot-long lever arm, so one could estimate torque in foot pounds easily, although the bar is pretty close to that.The locking universal joint has an unusual design, but from what I can tell, it seems more even than a regular universal joint.For me, the socket locks of the extension bars took a bit of getting used to. I suspect some users will be fairly annoyed by the locks, others will love them. My 125mm extension has a very loose fit on the sockets: while they won't fall off, they can slide a few mm up and down the shaft and wiggle a bit. The 250mm extension doesn't really have this problem.The case is a big let down. For a set this weight, it needs a handle to allow easy one-handed carrying. A solution might be to carry it in a bag or an old laptop PC case. Another minus is that the foam tray holds the sockets too tightly: it's quite hard to get the sockets out. A standard EVA plastic insert would work far better. I suggest squeezing the foam around each socket to loosen the hold. Any dirt and grease on the green foam areas of the case (and on the plastic ratchet handle grip ) shows up like a sore thumb. I've attached adhesive rubber feet to the bottom of my case.Fit and finish: apart from the previously mentioned loose extension bar, the sockets themselves look and feel very similar to standard ToolPRO 12 point sockets, and from the rear, they are indistinguishable. My 32mm socket had a slight imperfection on the ratchet end: not enough to cause any issues, though.This set is made is China, unlike regular ToolPRO, which is made in Taiwan by Stanley.I give them 4 out of 5, mainly because the case, particularly the foam insert, is not well designed.
Well made set. Sturdy metal case with decent clips. All the pieces click together well and stay together till you unclick them. Have only used it on light duty work to date but I have confidence in it for when I need to really test it out.
I got the set on sale and I must say I'm really impressed with the quality and finish of the entire socket set, the sockets grab really well, the ratchet hasn't got any movement in the mechanism and the sockets stay on the ratchet! I've had some pressure on the breaker bar and the ratchet and no sign of anything bending or letting go, I use my tools daily from small engine repairs right up to my 4x4 and can highly recommended the ToolPRO X 1/2 metric socket set, I'd love if Supercheap added a SAE set so I could have all the same tools!
