Very comprehensive set of spanners. They fit nicely in the plastic sleeves. The anti slip on the open ends works well in a range of situations. Pricing was excellent when on sale and the value was unbeatable!
Great set to have at a good price. The extra grip really helps to grab onto threaded heads of nuts and bolts. Bought this for repairing coffee machines, the range of sizes and extra grip is exactly what I'm after. I'm sure there's better sets out there, but not at this price, especially if these are on sale. They seem pretty solid, though are lighter than some of the more expensive ones. Realistically though, I don't see them breaking.Only issue I have is the rollable mat they come in. One of the pockets is stitched too narrow so the 20mm spanner doesn't fit in it, so I've had to put it in the same pocket as a bigger spanner. Bought this set in a hurry even though they weren't my first choice. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality which was much better than I expected. It was really good to have the range of sizes from 6-24mm, which most sets don't have and I used the bigger ones first time. They grip well, and I put some serious torque on them doing suspension parts and they performed perfectly. I thought the quality is really good and after using them couldn't see the difference between these and better known brands. They also look good and come in a decent roll-up carry case. For home mechanics I'd suggest they are spot on. Size range and value for money the two reasons to buy this set.
Spanners are great, good feel and work well. The tool roll they come in is very poorly made. The first time I used the set and went to replace 13mm the clear vinyl tore! Looks like they will be going into a toolbox...
Got a set of these to replace my standard toolpro set of these, and well worth it. The tolerances are much closer to the described size than the standard set, getting a much tighter fit on nuts bolts etc, and the teeth that make it non slip provide good bite and made taking O2 sensors off an absolute breeze, where previously had to resort to less than favourable means. The thicker handle makes it more comfortable in the hand when really giving it the beans and the longer handle gives more room for it
Beautifully crafted spanners, amazing size range and easy to lock in another spanner for extra ugga dugga abilities. The roll up mat is tough and well labelled and can be hung up on a wall is required. Highly recommended product.
As far as the spanners go, so far so good. They're solid and work comfortably as expected. I have noticed though that if you have the roll in the sun while you're working, the sun heats the clear plastic up so it goes soft and acts like clingwrap and won't allow the spanner to slide back into its pouch. You'll need to put it all in the shade before you can replace what you've used without tearing the pouch.
I went with this kit because It doesn’t skip sizes (below 28mm I think from memory) like some sets do which is nice for unusual stuff. Compared to the cheaper tool pro spanners these are more or less identical at first glance except the” X” spanners are slightly thinner and have the little anti-rounding cut-outs on the open end. Great bit of kit to have but the 32mm doesn’t fit very well in my toolbox draws as it’s slightly longer than me draws are deep, which means either leaving it out of the holder or rolling it all back up into the case (which i should mention is well made and has eyelets in the corners for hanging it on a wall).
