beautiful
This is a beautiful topper. I just trimmed the side bangs to be more face-framing. The length is perfect. It's more like 16'', which I prefer. I got it in color 6/30 which is a gorgeous color, not too flashy. The fibers are soft and natural-looking but they tangle too easily at the back and rub to my nack which could be bothersome in long wearing.... Show more

Disappointing
If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.... Show more

Great full-coverage topper
I love this topper. I have worn Jon Renau human hair toppers for several years, but wanted to try color 101/48t which isn't available in human hair. When I had good hair, it had natural curl, so I took a chance on Top Coverage Wavy, and I'm so glad I did. There is a learning curve when switching from human hair to synthetic, and I wish I could stick with human hair, but this color is such a great match for my bio hair. I love the ease of not having to style it, but have been disappointed in the longevity of synthetic fibers. I wear the same topper all day, every day. My disappointment is not with this style, but with synthetic fibers in general. If the cap feels too large, just give it a few wears to "fall" and shape to your head. This is truly a great full-coverage ... MoreI love this topper. I have worn Jon Renau human hair toppers for several years, but wanted to try color 101/48t which isn't available in human hair. This is truly a great full-coverage topper, and according to my good friends, who will always tell me the truth, it looks totally natural. I have purchased 2 so far, and will definitely order more.... Show more

Never again…not for everyone
This topper is not for everyone. First want to say, fast & easy with Wig Studio 1. My disappointment is in the hair piece. I have been wearing toppers for 10+ years, and I wholeheartedly know you have to work with a topper to make work, not wear right out of box. I typically like Jon Renau, I have human hair, heat friendly, and synthetic and understand the perks of each. But this hairpiece has entirely too much hair, very helmet head hair feel with big curls, felt like a very outdated style. Felt like a cone on top of my crown, wound not sit flat. I thought with the hand tied cap would feel lighter and sit flatter on my head, not even close, still felt like permatease on my head. Also not comfortable. I used thinning shears & it ended up looking like a mullet in the ... MoreThis topper is not for everyone. First want to say, fast & easy with Wig Studio 1. My disappointment is in the hair piece. I used thinning shears & it ended up looking like a mullet in the end. Just wasted $100’s on a piece that I will try to donate or throw away. I tried to make it work, so I can’t return, I should have known better, I knew I didn’t like it right away. But I was determined & felt I could make it work. I will say the hair felt good for being synthetic. There’s a reason there isn’t a ton of reviews online about thistopper. Very bummed & will continue my search….I tried premium wavy topper by Belle Tress, after a ton of work that one was ok, but the heat friendly fibers looked so bad rather fast, even with light heat applied. After buying 2, I couldn’t justify the short life for that price. Feel like giving up, it’s very discouraging trying to find a topper, I have hair, just extremely thin & frizzy . I’ve even bought wigs & cut into a topper. I’ve tried it all. Keep looking & wasting more money . My hair is my biggest insecurity & depressing to be disappointed yet again.... Show more

Not accurate length
Note: Very happy with wigs.com. This review is for the JR topper itself. I’m not happy with JR. This piece is advertised as 18in. However, when the piece arrived, I thought they mistakenly sent me the 12in topper because it was so short. I wear toppers because I have bald spots on top, the sides of my head & back. But I still have natural hair that is very long. I cannot wear this piece because it’s so short. Believing I was mistakenly sent the 12 in. topper, I called wigs.com. They said I could return it. But the wigs.com employee read the fine print in the description of the 18 in topper and it says “11-18 in”. That is deceiving in my book. Not happy. I appreciate that I can return the piece but am disappointed that JR wouldn’t ensure the topper was 18 in. like ... MoreNote: Very happy with wigs.com. This review is for the JR topper itself. Pretty but poofy
Very pretty but too much perma-tease. The hairline looks amazingly natural & the size makes it a perfect wig alternative. That said, the stretchy full lace cap makes it almost impossible to keep on a mannequin head, especially since there’s only limited spots for T-pins... Show more

Realistic, Gorgeous My Absolute Favorite
Don't let the picture of the model wearing this topper fool you it looks a million times better than what is pictured. This is my absolute favorite all-time topper and I have purchased a ton of them. The coverage is very large so comfortable and stretchy. I purchased the caramel ribbon and it looks absolutely beautiful so realistic I get so many compliments no one and I mean no one can tell it is synthetic. Has beautiful soft waves not too much hair so it is not poofy it is absolutely perfection.... Show more

Very realistic
This topper looks more realistic than any of the others I have purchased. It is not too poofy on top and lays very flat. It has a very large coverage area and six clips for security. It looks really nice in a ponytail or an updo because the crown lays so flat. I am going to order another one in a highlighted brunette when available. I ordered the number 6 which is a beautiful rich dark brown. Not too shiny. Ready to wear out of the box. The front is a little shorter than the back not sure if that will be an issue for others but it does come in an 18 inch as well. Love the ease of wearing a topper and confidence that it looks so real no one will know it's not.... Show more

Wow! Perfect topper!
I just got my 12" Top Coverage in 8/30 and absolutely love it! The coverage is perfect and the most comfortable of all toppers I own (about 12 so far). The topper fits very securely on the sides of the head with 6 clips. I do believe topper clips eventually pull the hair out and leave bald spots (I've been wearing toppers for over 6 years so I know this is true for me). I am now extra cautious about unclipping so as not to tear hair out but the harm is done for the upper part of my head. This topper grabs hair from the sides so I have a healthy bit to fasten to. The waves work perfectly with the curls of my natural hair and the color is spot on. The lace front blends right into my forehead and looks so natural. I hope Jon Renau comes up with other designs of this ... MoreI just got my 12" Top Coverage in 8/30 and absolutely love it!
