It has an amazing DAC built in - if you don't believe me, check the reviews on ASR. It takes a USB input and spits out S/PDIF (Coax and Optical) and RCA. Probably my most positive recommendation I have ever given. Properly impressive. This is an amazing piece of kit.

It is my first DAC. Product very adequate to expectations. The sound has improved over the aptxHD I was coming from. It does not color the frequencies in any way. I don't notice big difference between 44.1khz and higher frequencies but it will be a problem with my ear. Very convenient is the fact that it is powered by USB from the PC and then turns off when it is disconnected. I certainly noticed a greater presence of the music scene, high frequencies with harmonics and very dynamic bass. Excellent value for money.

Topping D10s is my first DAC. For me it is a big jump from using Intel NUC build in sound card to using this Topping DAC. D10s is reasonably priced device with a lots of possibilities. I can use it as bridge between computer and DAC in my amplifier or as independend DAC. Superior sound quality comparing to computer sound card. I have a feeling that my adventure with USB DAC just started.

A wonderful work overwhelming cost performance, with my speaker (4312E), it is the limit resolution. I also own a D10, but there is a big difference. After that, there may be a power problem, or there is a way to do it with USB power instead of simply changing from USB power to AC power. TOPPING, I'm looking forward to it. I feel the spirit of your company in the era of Corona.
Don't write reviews very often, but wanted to call out Topping for their D10s DAC. I have been looking forever to find a solution to my PC audio issues with Sonos Beam. It solved a huge problem with the HDMI to optical connections that limited the beam to only drive a single PC. The D10s allows me to run a USB in from the switcher to the DAC and then output via the optical to HDMI to the Beam.
First, I'll say that it took my D10s about 35 hours of burn-in to smooth the rough edges in the treble. Vocals, high string notes and overtones, etc. had scratchy, static quality, that burn-in smoothed out beautifully. Now, the treble is clean and focused. However, D10s is not perfect. With large choral recordings, the voices tend to blend together and get slightly distorted at the forte level and above, as the DAC has trouble picking out all the individual voices, though on well recorded choral pieces it does well. Also, the question becomes is it the D10s or the microphones, recording or mastering. My point is that the D10s is a steal is $99. It's performance is not of the giant-killer ilk, but to get this much performance for such a small price, is shocking.
