They went bonkers when I left this bag of balls in their reach. The first day, somebody tore a hole into the mesh netting-bag when we had to leave -the culprit remains anonymous, but he knows who he is- even though it's my fault. The second time, they helped themselves to over half of the bag. Balls everywhere!!! Quality balls; they're solid, no squeaking, and they're tough for rough pups. Even though they are light-weight, they get great distance & bounce. With anticipation of summer, I bought these for our precious queen that is a Goldendoodle. Fetching is her favorite pastime. Fetching on land is fun, but nothing compares to swimming for her. She also happens to lose balls like a silly cat does with their jingle-balls. So the more, the better! These are the best retrieving balls ever! We have two black labs who are extremely aggressive chewers. They would crush every other tennis ball we tried within two minutes. Unfortunately, the only balls they like to retrieve are tennis balls. They lost interest in any other type of ball very quickly so we went through a lot of regular tennis balls! Luckily we tried these pressureless tennis balls. We have been using the same two tennis balls every day for two weeks for retrieving and they are still in great condition. Wish we had tried them years earlier!

My golden is a rescue. We got her after a neighbor dumped her and grabbed some old tennis balls from the shed for her until we got toys. She loved them so I bought this multipack when getting the rest of her supplies on a whim.I opened the entire bag and dumped it into her new toy bin. BIGGEST DOGGO SMILE EVER! She was so ridiculously happy and I think she felt reassured that we weren't going anywhere and that this is her new home. She's calmed down tremendously and I think she just likes knowing she has a lot of toys and we're not taking away her tennis balls. It's also helped to calm her chewing habit. She just carries one in her mouth half the day from room to room.So if your doggo likes tennis balls get them this sack of them. They bounce well and your dog ... MoreMy golden is a rescue. Just have to review these because of what happened. They are your standard tennis balls. They get just as slimy as any other tennis ball after many fetches (why doesn't someone invent a ball that doesn't get slimy!) But, when you have ball obsessed dogs, these are great. It takes a while before they all disappear under the couch and you have to get up to fish them out. Also, it's nice to be able to throw away those nasty, dirty ones that have been out in the yard forever. My dog loves the Chewy box delivery and fished this bag of balls out of the box before I got to open the bag. Had to include the pic.of my happy dog.
Balls are on the firmer side, and have a tight weave to the flocking compared to our other tennis balls. They bounce very well; 'grounder' throws have a 40 to 50 ft travel distance after landing. The tight flocking doesn't seem to pick up as much dirt compared to the other balls, so the color stays bright. This helps both me and my lab find the balls when playing at sunrise or sunset.
I purchased this bag of tennis balls to use in a homemade treat puzzle for my border collie puppy. I place a few pieces of dog food kibble in a regular size muffin tin and put a tennis ball in each muffin compartment. My pup smells the kibble and has to move the balls to get to the kibble. She's small so grabbing the ball with her mouth isn't easy...she'll roll the balls off the tin with her paws and it actually takes a while before she's got the whole thing excavated. Tons of fun. I like that these come with a bag to store them in.
These are awesome for our dog. He's not a huge power chewer, but we have had no issues with balls losing their bounce after a game of fetch. They also don't have fabric that comes off which creates a choking hazard. We bought an entire bag of these thinking we would go through them as they break and we are still on the first ball after WEEKS of play. So excited to have found this product
Our dog, Jack, is a very large German Shepherd. He loves anything that squeaks. I kind of think he uses them as a teething ball. He doesn't seem to like these as well as the other kind we buy only for the fact that these are harder and it's harder for him to get his teeth into. Nothing stays in-tact when he's got his mouth on it. But, let his Husky "sister" Bella near the ball and it's all out the window. All balls belong to him!I love the fact that I can buy them in such a large bag full. Sure beats buying them 2 or 3 at a time.
Within an hour of breaking these balls out, one of my Labradors was drooling excessively & very lethargic. It seemed like she had been sedated, which is highly unusual for Sunny, my ball-obsessed, 10 month old Lab puppy. It was very strange, but I didn’t connect the dots. One worried trip to the vet later (diagnosis: allergic reaction) and several hours later, Sunny seems to be feeling better...until we broke the ball out again & her symptoms returned.I think it’s very likely that something on the tennis balls (they smelled very strongly when they arrived) made her ill, as that’s the only aspect of her routine that changed. Heed my advice & steer clear of these tennis balls or keep a close eye on your dog when you introduce them!
I have 2 Labrador Retrievers. Every day we spend hours (yes, hours!) playing fetch the ball and swim with the ball. My dogs are hard on the balls, incessantly chewing between throws. I was going thru tennis balls at least a dozen a week, with the balls coming apart and creating new chew toys. That changed this week. My lab ladies still chew, chew, chew. But the ball stays whole!! Wow!! These new pressureless dog balls from Chewy are amazing! And a nice surprise? They are about the same cost as mid grade tennis balls. But they are hearty and strong. And last for eva!
