So happy with this purchase. The ice cubes are easy to pop out if you flip the container upside down and the other ice cubes don't fall out. The ice cubes are large too, which I like because you only need a few to cool down your drink.

Other reviews raved about these but the only positive I can say is the shape of the cubes is great for drinks...IF YOU CAN EVER GET THEM OUT OF THE TRAY!!! Had a horrible time extracting the ice and finally gave up and purchased the cheap plastic ones that I can easily twist and pop out the ice. Sorry but this was a no go for me!

True, the ice cubes are perfect.....mind boggling....they stay solid and keep your drink colder longer. Love the shape and consistency in texture. I have to agree that the cubes are rather difficult to release....so I have been experimenting. I have found that when sitting at room temperature for a short while the cubes sweat just enough that given a little twist they will pop up and then can be easily removed. Any effort is worth the resulted perfect cube. I have 4 trays that seem not adequate....however they fill up my bin and truly fill up a glass with cubes to spare. So I gladly give it 5 stars!

I hate the typical plastic trays where you have to crack them and all the ice cubes go flying. I like the square shape and altho it can take some effort to get a cube, I'm happy with them. Make more sense than plastic trays and will probably last longer too.

There are absolutely amazing just the right size of ice cubes for a good mix. Drink out on the patio. Enjoying a sunny day. Thanks to Wayfair. ❤️

I was surprised to see the reviews here.* I don't taste 'rubber' from these.* I do think the other points are fairly valid.However, I still think these are really cool. Granted, they are not firm (no silicon is) so you have to hold them carefully after filling and put them on a flat surface in the freezer. Granted, silicon is not a slippery surface, so you can't push-slide them anywhere. I can push out what I want and put the tray back. So I consider this 'a feature not a bug'.Now, if you have a need to very quickly use many trays of ice, so you need to be able to grab something, twist, get a shower of cubes, and move on, then this is NOT the ice cube tray for you.But if you often use only some of the tray, and if freezer space is a premium, and if your fingers to push up on the bottom of a cube or pull it out are not crippled, then I think this is a great ice cube tray.I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because some of the points people made are valid. It's simply that some of them are not any problem with the product, they are merely a factor of what the product inherently is, e.g., that it is not firm, that it will not 'slide', that all the cubes don't just fall out with a twist -- these are issues of silicon (or the literal cube shape rather than slightly slanted sides), which means it's a 'given' for the product, not a fault, just personal preference about this "kind" of product/feature.If you want the cube shape, you get the "they don't all fall out at once". If you want the silicon, you get the "doesn't slide" and "isn't rigid". If you don't want those features, well don't buy this ice cube tray, and you'd have no complaints. I actually wanted them, so I think it's a good product.

Awesome little trays!

I LOVE these! I blend of fruit and veggies to freeze so I can use them for smoothies & baby food. I did not have a problem getting the cubes out. I just turned the tray upside down over a plate & bent the tray & pushed them out from the bottom. Some I would have to pull out the rest of the way from the top but still very easy. I have not made ice in these so I’m not sure if that is easy to get out. They are almost all the way clean when I get the cubes out so it’s an easy wash if so want to reuse them right away or I just pop them into the dishwasher.

Not the best choice for ice. 1.25" molds are too small for ice cube removal.

These 1.25-inch Silicone Molds are simply too small for ice cubes. These 1.25-inch silicone molds are terrible for ice as the ice is a bear to get out. The larger the cube, the easier it is to get the ice out. 1.5 inch and 2-inch cubes work well for ice, but these 1.25-inch Tovolo Molds are too small for ice, and they melt much faster than the 1.5-inch and 2.0-inch cubes.These 1.25 molds might work for baby food or something else I don't use, but for what I intend to use them to freeze (ice), they are awful. The 1.5-inch cubs fit into a Wide Mouth Hydroflask. The 2-inch cubes are too large for a Hydroflask but work great in a Yeti cup. I haven't found a 1.5-inch Tovolo mold, but if I do I will buy some. Perfectly Square Cubes

These cubes are so attractive in any cold beverage. They don't take up much room in the freezer. I gave them 4 stars just because they're a bit of a challenge to remove from the tray.

I purchased these to replace 3 plastic trays that cracked into pieces.I love the new silicone products. They function so much better.My old double row ice trays with 12 cubes took up more space than is used to make these 15 cubes at 4.5" x 7.25" 2.25" dimensions when BOTH are stacked.I like how the top of cube form is flush with the edge as this prevents all of the cubes forming to one piece at the top when filled to the brim. At first I had a hard time getting the cubes out of the tray because I was trying to twist and pop them out like a plastic tray. But since the cubes do not stick to the form, all you need to do to remove the cube is to press the individual cube forms on the bottom with your finger tip.I fill my tray from a Berkey spigot. Water over flow has caused my trays to freeze to the freezer shelf. But being silicone, the stacked trays have not frozen together.These do make perfectly square cubes which look pretty in a glass of clear liquid. I look forward to making a batch from boiled, purified water to get crystal clear cubes for fancy drinks.
