Tower 28 - Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer - Sun Coast - 4.5g

I was looking for a shade match for the RMS Buriti bronzer which (for me) is a perfect reddish bronze that mimics a natural sunkissed glow. It's not listed here anymore and was OOS on their site. After consulting with the help chat this seemed like a good match in color and fairly close in texture. It's neither of those but I am happy with it. It doesn't blend quite as seamlessly for me as the RMS and the shade has more of a terracotta undertone than red but the results are still pretty and natural looking with no sparkles . It seems to wear just as long. I also like it on my lips with a clear gloss. Not quite what I was looking for but I'd buy it again if I couldn't find the Buriti Bronzer

I cannot recommend the bronzing line enough. Just like I cannot recommend the blush line enough. I have gone through three so far which is a great feet because they have quite a bit of product and a lot of pay off. They are Diery. They are luminous. They are radiant they are gorgeous. If you wanna look like a sun goddess, get yourself some of these bronzers. I personally find it best to apply with a good brush instead of a beauty blender or use your fingers. Even these are buttery soft blend. Double smooth and are not fussy at all.

At around $20 you get a decent amount of product that can be worn well on bare skin or atop your foundation. I chose the shade West Coast, which is a warm toned medium brown/copper with a pearly finish. The texture of this is nice, lightweight smooth, easily spreadable, and slightly tacky. It has semi-sheer pigmented that can be built up to a more medium coverage easily. This bronzer is very versatile and can be applied to bare skin or atop your foundation. I did see that applying a couple of layers on top of some foundation it did lift some of my base off, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t work with. The color is perfect for giving you that sun kissed look and the shimmer is radiant looking in the light. The only down side to it is that the shade range is limited, not a lot to choose from. But the colors are beautiful, rich and pigmented, and long lasting. I wore this for around 8 hours before it started to fade. For the price it’s a good product. This is a clean product, and mode with ingredients that are non irritating to sensitive skin. I definitely recommend this product and this brand. Tower28 has lots of amazing, versatile products.

Please never discontinue this bronzer or change the formula!!!This is the best looking bronzer I have ever used. A lot of bronzers are not luminous at all and dull my skin, look to orange or powdery, patchy but omg this is perfection. So easy to blend and apply and is perfect if you like a lighter dewier makeup look. I prefer a full face of makeup but lighter application so I dont come off cakey or overdone and this is perfect for that. I think everyone who doesn't like this does well with a lot of the heavier bronzers on the market and this type of look just isn't for them. I have dry skin with some fine lines and texture, light to medium cool/neutral skin and West Cost is a perfect bronzing shade. Gorgeous, dewy, and natural

I heard a ton of raving about this product and always wanted to try it, but it wasn’t until the Sephora near me stocked it that I finally went for it. I’m glad I waited: I ended up buying a totally different shade than the one I expected to (I ultimately went for Best Coast, which looks like it would have been much too dark in the package but once I swatched the shades, determined it was the color for me). However, if you do not like a dewy finish or do not limit your bronzer use to the places the sun typically hits you (i.e., not good for all-over bronzing on your face), this product is not for you. In addition, I have medium/light skin, so I would imagine that since I got a darker color, it may not function as more than a highlighter on more melanated skin.Final note: I recommend applying with a brush. I tried beauty blender, fingers, and brush, and the brush is the winner by far.

I LOVE IT AS A HIGHLIGHTER AND DEWY EYESHADOW

I went to my local Sephora to swatch the shades and didn't like this as a bronzer for my skin tone and type. Sooooo i figured i would use a color that would suite me best as a balmy highlighter and I LOVE IT!It is so flattering on top of a cream blush and has the right amount of shine. It does set and doesn't move throughout the day on my combo/oil/dehydrated skin. It lasts all day and gives the best dewy cheek without looking oily if you know what i mean. It doesn't migrate on me either. I've never been able to confidently use balm-like products without worrying if I looked like an oil slick every 2 mins. I don't really have enlarged pores so I can't speak to its blurring capabilities, nor does it advertise itself as such. I LOVE this formula!!

I was previously using the Anastasia contour stick (which is great) but have found myself gravitating to this as of late because:1. Its texture makes it soooo easy to blend, allows for buildable coverage, and makes my skin look dewy and glowy2. The color is fantastic - very natural (read: not orangey!) for my skin tone3. Granted I use a light dusting of powder followed by the caliray setting spray but it lasts all day4. I love the packaging - I know some ppl might not like that the clear gets murky as product gets on it but it’s compact and therefore easy to carry. Have had it for a few months now and seems like it’s sturdy enough to last until the product is gone but will try to update if that doesn’t prove to be the case (pun unintended….)

Perfect glowy bronzer for dry textured skin!!

I usually stay away from glowy bronzers because they tend to emphasize texture, but I decided to take a chance on this one after hearing all the buzz about it. It’s quickly become an everyday staple, I love how it adds an almost glossy natural bronze without emphasizing texture on my cheeks or looking patchy. If you want an intense bronze you definitely have to build it up a bit, as it sheers out with application, which I actually enjoy for more natural makeup days. The tone is perfect for cool skin tones, it doesn’t pull orangey or dirty on me at all like many bronzers do, and there’s no glitter particles so it really just gives this lovely dewy sheen to the entire cheek. I think I’ve found the most success using a dense brush and stippling it on the cheeks, I find that a beauty sponge absorbs too much product and the application is too sheer for my liking. You can definitely apply it with your fingers, I just personally feel like it takes too long to build up that way. I really love how this bronzer just illuminates my whole face with a bronzy sheen, without looking too “makeup-y” or being too greasy. Having dry skin makes it hard to find bronzers that melt into the skin and look natural, but this one is really fantastic and I’m so glad I purchased it! The perfect balmy, shimmery bronzer

I got this product in a Sephora Favorites set. This bronzer is on the lighter side and the payoff is buildable, which I like! The undertones are (FINALLY) neutral and does not make me look orange. The balmy formula instantly gives an healthy glow and the shimmers are non-gritty (you don’t feel them). It isn’t too shimmery for my liking: I tried it a few times on its own for a natural look, but I prefer to apply it over another cream bronzer. To me, this is not meant to be a « main bronzer » : this is meant to be layered. Otherwise, the more you build up the coverage of this particular product, the more you build up the intensity of the shimmer. Underwhelmed :(

I was very excited to get this bronzer but sad to say it missed the mark. Skin: oily, medium-deep skintone and acne prone with healing acne pigmentation on my cheekbone (where I apply bronzer). My major issues with this bronzer is blendability and shimmers. While the shade is gorgeous and works well with my medium-golden-olive skin tone, there are tiny shimmers in this formula that are very unflattering. Based on the reviews I was expecting shimmers, but expecting them to be flattering or blend away to an undetectable finish. But I find that once I blend the product out, the blending process causes certain shimmers to separate and migrate away from the product onto other parts of my face (e.g. under eyes, apple of the cheeks) and look very unflattering. The shimmers that separate and migrate aren't golden or bronze but a silver/metallic shade that is glaringly obvious. I also find it hard to blend this out, despite being a balm I find it much harder to blend than my nudestix cream products for comparison. Lastly, once blended out the balm and luminous formula + the texture and pigmentation on my skin combine to form an unflattering splotchy blend. While I don't expect any bronzer to look flawless on that part of my face, compared to my other bronzers this looks the least flattering. I wanted to really like this product but not sure how I feel about it now, I will continue to use it more to see if I can make it work with different product combinations (or maybe return?) but so far not a fan.
