Tower 28 - Swipe Serum Concealer - 6.0 Ie - 6.5ml

I’ve used this concealer a couple of times and I do like it but there’s a couple of things that keep me from loving it. For starters - I think the shade range is not great. I’m a light medium and I blind bought shade 6 online and when I got it felt like it was a lot lighter than what I thought. I definitely love a lighter shade under my eyes but this is a bit brighter than what I normally go for. I went into Sephora and swatched the next couple of shades and I just couldn’t find a good enough match. The shade up was also described as medium with a neutral under tone but it was so rosy and equally as light. This line could definitely use some work on adding more shades with more balanced undertones. I do recommend for normal to dry skin.

Creamy and Hydrating with Amazing Coverage

Since I was familiar with T28 products before the Swipe Serum Concealer came out, I had very high expectations for this product. And let me tell you ever since I started using this product, it has been the only concealer in my makeup bag and I do not see myself replacing it with another brand anytime soon. I am more than in love with this product because not only does it have great coverage, but the application feels smooth and lightweight. I used to use a brush to blend my concealer but with the serum-like feel to the product, I only use my finger to apply it. I actually find it better to apply the product with my finger since it has a very creamy formula. Eh, wouldn’t repurchase, creases super quickly

If your like me where you’ve been searching for that perfect concealer, read this before you purchase! I don’t normally write reviews unless I feel it’s necessary, this is actually my first Sephora review. I’ve been seeing so many people using this concealer, and I was super excited to try it as I’ve been trying to find a lightweight creamy concealer that rests well on my oily skin. However, I was quickly thrown off by how easily this creases. As bad as other concealers I’ve tried are, they DONT crease this bad. I bought multiple shades

This is truly the Goldilocks approved concealer for dry undereyes and natural looking medium coverage! It's actually my favorite medium coverage concealer I've ever used. It's a very light and hydrating serum formula but it somehow has great medium coverage, it's buildable, it's easy to blend with fingers, sponge, or brush, and it looks extremely natural and fresh. I shockingly really like to use it all over my face because the finish is so lovely. It looks like it isn't even there except it covers so well. I'm shocked that T28 figured out how to get so much pigment in such a light and fresh-looking and hydrating formula. It lasts for 5 hours before starting to wear off, and keeps my dry undereyes fresh and hydrated.Tower 28 gifted me a tube for my honest review, but it was the wrong shade. But I loved the formula so much I went and bought 2 more shades. They didn't ask me to leave a review here, this is for my purchases. Shade 5 was gifted and too yellow and dark for me. I wear La Cienega in the T28 tint and Armani luminous silk in 5 is my perfect match. I bought shade 2 for brightening and shade 3 for color correcting and all over my face application.I know it doesn't sound like it with this review, but I'm actually extremely picky with concealers and I've tried over 20 formulas and never found a favorite medium coverage concealer until this one because I want it to look like I'm not wearing any concealer and hydrate and self set and have enough coverage for my dark circles, and this is the only one that has ever achieved all that at once.

Lovely but not perfect

I went from having oily skin to developing a problem dry T-zone that no matter how much I moisturize becomes extremely dry throughout the course of the day. My longtime concealer was not cutting it anymore so I've been on the hunt for something that will work for dry skin. This concealer looked very promising. First, it goes on beautifully, provides excellent coverage that is indeed buildable, and gives a natural, skin-like appearance. My skin looks hydrated and dewy when I first apply and for most of the day after it has dried down. It also lasts really well throughout the day -- blemishes I'd covered in the morning are still completely covered and not noticeable by the end of the day. However, by the end of the day my usual dry patches do begin to show. I have fair neutral skin that leans a tiny bit cool and initially I thought I wasn't going to be able to find an appropriate match for me b/c the 1.0 BH fair neutral shade looks VERY yellow before it dries down, and the next best shade was a light with neutral cool undertones that looks way too dark and orangey on me. I was happily surprised to see that 1.0 BH got a little darker and less yellow as it dried down and in the end is almost a perfect match for my skin tone. If you're struggling finding a good shade match, try swatching a few and wait until they dry down completely to see if they're a good match. I ended up using the light neutral/cool shade as a color corrector under my eyes before applying the fair neutral shade to brighten.

I’m honestly really impressed with this. I don’t wear much makeup, concealer is actually the only coverage product I use, and it’s just to cover some post acne marks and redness. I’m very acne and redness prone and I’m using tretinoin so my cheeks and chin tend to get pretty dry whenever I do wear makeup. I’ve used the NYX “bear with me” concealer for the last couple years but recently it’s been flaking off of my chin and cheeks within a few hours of application and the coverage isn’t great. I tried two more concealers after that, including Tarte Shape Tape ultra creamy and they didn’t do it for me either so I decided to give this one a try and I’m glad I did. Not cool enough

(See photo) the lightest shade of Elf is my actual match, a cool pink undertone. This Tower28 concealer is not fair-cool friendly. Shade 1 shows up quite yellow (I’ll let it slide, because it’s labeled as “neutral” which I am clearly not). Shade 2 is too dark and it shows up orange on my face, not a cool undertone as described. I’ve well tested both of these for the last three days, with and without powder, side by side, on face and under-eyes, so this isn’t just first impressions, I really tried.What makes this more upsetting is the formula is actually decent, probably the best I’ve found in my extensive search for a concealer that actually matches me (I hate the concealer I’m currently using but it’s the only match I could find). SO MUCH FOR SO LITTLE

I don't even know where to start - okay so first of all the PACKAGING. This concealer is literally the cutest, I love the purple top. Also this is a LOT of concealer. Like, you can literally feel how heavy it is, and its a lot more product than I usually get in any other concealer. And can we talk about the price??? I feel like most concealers are usually between 27-35 dollars, but this concealer is only 22?! And again, it is a LOT of product, which feels like a steal tbh. Anyway, the product itself is also really good. I mean, you still need some sort of eye cream or primer underneath, but like, that's how it is with all concealers, so not judging. Super sheer coverage and VERY dry

I bought this during the winter sale bc of the social media hype but it's not that special. The cheap price was enticing, and it feels nice going on, but the coverage is EXTREMELY sheer and it dries out sooo fast. I barely had time to blend it. It's not very buildable or blendable after the first swipe. It made my dark circles look gray, so if you have dark circles DON'T go lighter bc it won't give you that brightening effect. You need to match it to your exact skin tone instead. If you have dry skin, please skip this as well as it will crease (even with setting powder). Times like this remind me to take virality with a grain of salt. I think this would be great for young person (like teenager) w/o dark circles who has combo or oily skin. HG has more coverage than T28 but is not as cakey as Too Faced. Nars is also a good option.

great product, bad color descriptions

At first glance I was disappointed in this purchase. I was unable to see this concealer in person when I ordered so I had to make an educated guess on my shade which can be very hit or miss. The shade, 5.0 EP - light with neutral undertones was really orange on my skin, like a company mixed yellow and pink to create something "neutral" instead of a light neutral beige color I was looking for, Luckily I am a big fan of color correctors, the only way I can conceal my often times extremely dark circles and very thin, dry and translucent under eye skin. Applying this product just where I need it works wonderfully to color correct! It melts into the skin without fading away into a sheer oily spot - a pet peeve that I can have serum concealers. I do wish the color matched my skin so I could use it as an all over concealer but I am happy with the way my under eyes look using this product. It becomes invisible under the eyes and it looks like I am not wearing product because I don't need coverage there when I actually look like a zombie without makeup. I since then I have made it to the store and my better shade is number 2 neutral cool - odd because I see no cool tones in the color - a good thing because my skin, although neutral (as in a color can be to yellow) certainly has no noticeable pink tones to it. I wish the color descriptions were better, it's really hard to select the proper shade just from the words used here and the pictures of the shades don't really help either. The process has been frustrating but worth it, but I recommend going to a store to color select for this product. For this reason I give it 4 stars but the performance itself is really good - not drying or obvious on the skin.
