This is an excellent very capable router with good coverage and great data flow capabilities. That said at the time of this writing (Mar 2022) there are no specific ISP settings for this model on PBTech’s router settings page for TP-Links, so I will make some comments to help. But before doing so in terms of performance, I’m in a 2 bedroom unit with a third room for storage (all one level). The fibre box at one end with office at opposite end. I located the router next to fibre box and tested connections at opposite end of house. iPad good enough but laptop/compact PC poor (about 10% capacity of a 100/300 fibre connection) so perhaps weaker antenna in those. So bought a 20m Cat6 Ethernet cable and moved the router to centre of house. Speeds are now excellent in all ... No mesh required!! Router feeds connections to devices intelligently too so drop offs rare unlike some other lesser routers I’ve used. For settings, Google ‘pbtech tp-link router settings’ for the setup page you need. For fibre I used the Archer C3150 at end of the pbtech page which was close enough match for ‘Advanced’ settings for this router on Vodafone NZ plan, but make sure you complete step 2 before internet connection will come live.

My new ISP provided Router was performing quite poorly despite a Fibre connection, after researching a few options I purchased this TP Link Router. Very pleased, set up did require a few settings changed which I found was best done by using a web browser rather than the app, but that was an option listed in the instructions, and I could find those settings required on my ISP's website, and overall it was actually easier than I expected based on previous experiences years ago. Wifi range is significantly better than the past 2 Routers I've used, and speeds are much faster now on devices a few rooms away which means I can stop running an Ethernet cable down a hallway now. Very pleased, worth the upgrade if you are having issues or think you could get better ... Pretty painless to set up. Just had to do normal setup and then in advanced settings enable IPTV/VLAN, and select New Zealand from the dropdown. Thanks to Vodafone for helping with that, no thanks to the TP Link staffer who disconnected the call midway through and was poorly trained.Much better quality of reception throughout my home now compared with my old VDSL modem/router.This is all you need to connect to the internet with Fibre.

Although i have the computer hardwired to ethernet "only way to fly" needed something the phone and printer could join wifi on.This router was inexpensive and easy to setup via the barcode APP.Have a Samsung SSD connected to it too.Happy with the price, waiting for NZ and APPLE to get their wifi 6E act together this router will do nicely until then.
It's a good basic router, stable and efficient. The only little disappointment (on advanced usage) was that the Guest Networks can not specify a dedicated DNS, hence I can't use an AdBlocker or a PiHole with it; but this is a product problem, not CoolBlue related.Otherwise very good
This is a good device in general, I like it so far (been using it for about 2-3 months). However I doubt that it would anywhere be capable of the "promised" 5Ghz 2402 Mbit/s speed. I could imagine it under very ideal circumstances and in a laboratory environment, but not at home. I have 1Gbit/1Gbit at home, and can achieve about 6-700 Mbit/s on 5Ghz if I'm in the same room as the router. Nevertheless, I don't want to complain because it's more than enough, but if you want more use ethernet cable :)
So easy to set up. Ideal for the technically clueless. Also good enough for any ordinary user. It's lucky, or perhaps too convenient, that this is designed specifically to be a compliant easy drop-in master for a mesh system because the drop off rate is pretty bad especially, oddly, in the 2.4ghz range. I found the old reliable 2.4 to be horrendous whereas the 5ghz channels had decent range. Not the best but useable for your average family in a reasonabley large house (bigger than the 3 bedroom models it is supposed to support). I imagine that the not-so-cheap but guaranteed compatible one-mesh extenders would make this a full speed, full coverage system for any size area including difficult designs with dog legs and multiple storeys etc. You get what you pay for ... If you factor in the price of extenders then it starts to become less bang for buck but becomes a more premium solution. So the option to go cheap or premium is kind of built in to the solution and maybe that's not so bad.
