This modem router is so much better than the ones you get from your internet provider in every way, I would highly recommend!The Tether app you can link your modem to has a user friendly interface is a great software to see who's connected, your connection status, reconfigure the device from modem to router and vice versa.My only gripe is that my office is a room over, maybe 10 or so metres away from where the modem router is, and it goes down to one bar for some reason. I had an extender handy which fixed it so it wasn't that big of an issue for me.

I had to return the TP Link TD-W9970 ADSL/VDSL modem, as it was regularly dropping the internet signal: LAN was fine. And I had to restart it.This modem has functioned perfectly, for over 1.5 weeks. Not one single drop-out.PBTech were great, with the return, & swap-over. Thx.

Purchased as broadband providers are no longer supplying modems/routers due to supply issues. Installed seamlessly and superb wifi coverage throughout the house, previous modems we have owned have had black spots that no longer exist. This is the older model which does not have gigabit ports but still a good buy.

What a great price.. Got me back "on the air" very quickly. Just be careful that you don't need the "telephone" port as it does not provide for VOIP service. Works great on my provider "SUPERLOOP"
Upon getting this modem home I plugged in and it was literally nothing but problems also i cant fathom why it doesn't have a USB port in 2023! I mean what sort of router doesn't have a USB I mean seriously come on and not even LAN - USB NAT type hard drive support. It is currently sitting in the bottom of my draw awaiting use someday if it is not superceed by then.
We bought this to replace our previous modem that was more expensive and broke after 2months. This Tplink AC1200 Wireless VDSL/ADSL Modem Router works really good so far and we never had problem with it. We had it for more than 3months now. It has a 5G option to connect as well and connection in our house wherever you are is quite good. No problem with connecting to the internet and its value for money is very good.
Works great for the price, got it after finding out that our old Telstra router didn't work with our new ISP (which most usually do).Works with FTTN/FTTB which most routers no longer supported (unless you pay $250), setup was easy and has most presets for Aussie ISP's (else just use other at the bottom like I had to for MyRepublic) also works with FTTP when NBN eventually upgrade your house (in 1-3 business years probably lol) it just turns the 4th LAN port into a WAN port to be able to work with that connection type, so theres no need to buy a new router when it happens (might need to reset/reconfigure the router when it happens which is easy enough to do with the app).
I've had better, but this has proven to save the day for the most part. I had internet issues with technician and provider finding no other fault. The Tp link was the only one available with a respectable price. The internet still cuts out on occasion but not as it did before so now I know this modem is doing what it can with perhaps a busy internet line due to people working from home through the pandemic. What I have also noticed is I'm pretty sure this modem lacks the power of previous one because my ZOOM freezes every now and then, where it never used to, so wouldn't be any good for certain games.
The main thing is its unlocked and can be used with any network, great for smaller ISP companies that cost less and offer more speed.The second thing is the 4 antennas make it great to reach around the whole house. Final note its not too costly and I wish I knew about this product earlier.
Easy to set up. Reliable. I couldnt find a single fault with this modem. Im very happy with this purchase. Great value too.
