You can provide stable internet at home, thanks to the TP-Link Deco PX50 Duo Pack. These Mesh routers use 2 frequency bands allowing you to connect up to 150 devices. The 2.4GHz band processes up to 574Mbps and the 5GHz band processes up to 2402Mbps. So you can even game on the first floor, or hold a meeting with your 4K webcam. The PX50 routers are well connected to each other via the powerline connection. You're also always connected to the fastest router, thanks to artificial intelligence.

I sideways graded from the Deco X68 3-pack to this Deco PX50 3-pack to take advantage of the built in Ethernet-over- "Powerline" feature because my NBN is at 1 end of my long house and my main PC is at the other end. I also have exposed ceilings so I can't just run ethernet cables through a roof space. It is working well and has solved my problems. The only thing I have noticed is that it has to run in "Wi-Fi Router mode" (not Access Point) for the Powerline function to work properly, even though the main unit is plugged into another NBN Router. My older X68 system ran in Access Point mode.

Only been a week, but these have been a big improvement for me. A year ago I had a [premium brand, rhymes with wet deer] mesh system, but was changing internet providers and needed a second system to run in parallel for a while. For this I bought a TP link M4 three-node system because it was like $110 on sale. But when it came time to shut down the old network I decided to keep the M4 system because it was actually a bit more stable than the premium routers. Still, it had trouble reaching the garage and our greenhouse. So I gave these P9 routers a try, and the Powerline backhaul has fixed those problems. Since the M4 units are compatible, I added those into the mesh scattered around the house, and coverage has been awesome. As the AC1200 is like 10 times as fast as my internet service, I have no use for a faster router. While it has all the configuration options I need, and the setup is dead simple, those who have complex requirements might be disappointed in the configurability. Also the Powerline network these create is exclusive to these routers, you cant just add another Powerline device and expect it to work. But for my requirements this has been a solid choice.

Great power line mesh system.

The Deco was easy to set up and use. It fixed my ongoing issue of poor wi-fi coverage in my apartment with solid brick walls. Best performance if you power them directly off the wall socket.

Haven’t seen a buffer wheel since I installed these 3 in my home that’s about 5000 square foot with second floor solid wood. I do have fiber optics with it. Up to 1G. I tried many different t things before those two things worked. These extensions with fiber.

I think this would be the ideal system for a community of Mongolians trying to have seamless network between their yurts. Works good in a concrete house too!

Wow! WIFI everywhere.
9 August 2024

I had been using the Deco P9 for my mesh system and was having trouble keeping WIFI up and running. I added the Deco PX50 effortlessly into my Mesh and WOW what a huge difference. My download speeds have really jumped up. I have an old two story house with lath and plaster walls. I now have WIFI everywhere, even in an out building! Thank you B&H for being my supplier.
