I'm an IT worker and have only installed 2 or 3 mesh networks. The price of this one convinced me to buy and install one for my home. It was a terrific decision. Only needed 2 of the 3 modules to cover the inside of my masonry home. The signal on these is strong! Turned off the wireless on the xfinity router and removed the 2 tplink network expanders I was using to cover the house. Now just have one signal and no need to manually transfer to the stronger network. Will use the 3rd for bbqs and such. Btw, it has a feature to setup a guest network AND it has an "optimize" feature where it looks for wireless signals that may interfere with it and then it changes signals. Finally, the configuration process is pretty easy but it's not very granular and the documentation ... MoreI'm an IT worker and have only installed 2 or 3 mesh networks. I wouldn't use this for a business unless it was a very small one because of the lack of granularity to configure security, filters and such. However, for a small business and a home it's a terrific solution. I already texted clients and other techs to let them know that this is worth trying.

Bought this just yesterday. Connected it to my starlink network via the router (wired), and used it to extend the wifi coverage to another building about 20 meters away. Had to try find a good spot to put all the units to ensure the best signal and coverage which can be a bit of a slow job (the units take a few min to reconnect each time you move them about), but overall its pretty good. Speeds are a bit slower at the other building when you're not connected to the starlink router but it isn't too bad. About 30-90mbs. Get about 200 when connected directly to the starlink router. That could possibly be a setting issue tho so I wouldn't let that put you off, I just haven't figured it out yet. The units themselves are small, discreet and you can even turn the led ... MoreBought this just yesterday. The app is really good and is easy to navigate. However it does lag a bit at times and can be a bit glitchy. It is only day 2 tho.Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I did hear the x20 is a bit better but the x10 works quite well so far.

Bought these to extend my existing Deco M5 mesh network as I moved house to a large, old house with 3ft thick stone walls and the M5 wasn't up to the job. Since installing the X1500s the signal between units has improved hugely, cutting through the walls like they're not even there. Even better, I can use the old M5 units in rooms that don't need a super fast signal (although to be fair, they're plenty fast enough for streaming). The one thing that surprised me about these is the size. I'd expected that the updated version might have come in a smaller package, but these are about the same diameter as the old M5s, but about three times the height. Sort of like a white plant pot. As it happens, they actually blend in to the decor of most rooms quite ... MoreBought these to extend my existing Deco M5 mesh network as I moved house to a large, old house with 3ft thick stone walls and the M5 wasn't up to the job. Previously I was unable to get any coverage in my garage or in my side backyard. I placed the third one in the bedroom closet to the garage and I am still overwhelmed with how my Arlo cameras are getting the wi-fi outside so easily now. There was a section in my side backyard where the wi-fi was just showing one bar and was still not staying stable. Now I have 3 bars for the 2 cameras in this area and the cameras are coming in perfectly. For anyone who fears changing anything working for you, I was one of those people and was kind of afraid at first of switching to this system and I finally did it and I just cannot believe how easy this has been for me. I am a 62 female, smart and can figure a lot of things out but sometimes get a little afraid and so glad I was ... MorePreviously I was unable to get any coverage in my garage or in my side backyard. If you are on the fence, I want to reassure you that this system is a piece of cake and the engineering of this system is amazing. You just plug the main one first with the ethernet and the others do not need that ethernet once you connect the first one and follow the directions for syncing then, start adding the other two ones until you sync all three of them. I just showed two neighbors of mine and looks like they are going to go and get the same system after seeing what this system can do.
I received the Whole home mesh wi-fi 6 system by TP-Link and have to say I have had no problems so far and love it. I live out more on the outskirts of the city and WiFi is hit or miss day by day. One day it'll be good the next everything is dropping signal. I figured I'd give this full home coverage a shot since I had nothing to lose. It comes in a 3 pack and claims to cover up to 5,600 sq. ft, and I believe it does. Even though I have a smaller home I have a lot of property and it covers all the way in the backyard. I have cameras set up all around my property and ever since I set this system up, even the camera all the way down my driveway stays connected. My son was always struggling with his Xbox since his room is in the very back, furthest away from the WiFi ... MoreI received the Whole home mesh wi-fi 6 system by TP-Link and have to say I have had no problems so far and love it. My son was always struggling with his Xbox since his room is in the very back, furthest away from the WiFi router and was always searching for a signal. I set one of these up in his room and he has yet to complain about a connection. The lights I have hooked up with Alexa, that I had to constantly reconnect due to signal lost, stay connected as well. All and all I recommend this system if you are struggling with WiFi. The set up was fairly easy and the app is great. It comes with 3 Deco W4500 Units, 1 RJ45 Ethernet cable, 3 power adapters, and a quick installation guide. Can't really go wrong with it.
I am not a technology Expert, but I felt like one while setting this up. This is an easy installation, and I recommend it to anyone who wants good coverage on multiple levels of the home or a larger home. One system, one password - whole house coverage. It includes 3 units, 3 power adapters (plugs), and an RJ45 Ethernet cable. That is all you need to attach it to Your home, actually! The units are attractive, and can sit out to provide easy access, and style, too! The unit off of my modem took only 10 minutes to set up, and the two other units took about 2 minutes each. All I did was download the TPLink Deco App (QR code is provided), and the App walked me through installation. I can use parental Controls, prioritization, guest network, and all of the features, right from my app!I absolutely recommend this system for today's living. It's wifi-6 and can connect to 120 smart devices! Fantastic choice!
Overall A Nice Mesh SystemI recently put these into a place..with old wiring and poor coax placement for my modem. Power line adapters were not working and I couldn’t find a central location for the router, which led to poor connection. I purchased these since I’ve had TP link products for a while. I’m happy with the results. I have had no drops since setting these up.Setup was easy and the app gives you a decent number of features to work with. For a normal person it’s all you would need. For tech-people it’s going to feel a little stripped down. You can do the basics though - custom dns servers for things like piHoles, port forwarding, and health monitoring.Very good network coverage, provides plenty of it throughout the household with no drops in signal, ... MoreOverall A Nice Mesh SystemI recently put these into a place..with old wiring and poor coax placement for my modem. Multiple routers make for no dead zones at all! TP Link is the top brand for wifi routers by far
This TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Router W4500 System is a very nice and useful addition to my home network. It is an easy to install Wi-Fi mesh system that enhances my whole house Wi-Fi coverage. The directions are very clear, and it is almost too simple to install, although it did take a little time and patience. All the items needed for installation were included, so no hunting around or need to buy additional cables or adapters. Overall, a very well thought out package. The setup went smoothly but best of all, the performance is great, especially in those areas where my previous Wi-Fi was slow or lacking altogether. All neat features I did not have before (although, frankly, I don't set any schedules). The items are well made and blend into the house decor fine. Comes with a 2 year warranty and has 24 x 7 Tech support. Overall, this mesh network system is A+.
There are so many things I really love about the routers, but we have been tweaking issues for a few days now. The app is very helpful and easy to navigate. Trying to get support through chat did not work, but we found some helpful people in the community forum. As of now everything is running good, and I’m glad we have the routers, they are definitely an upgrade.Setting up the 1st router was a breeze and the next two routers transferred quickly from the install. I’m not sure why but our TV images were a lot brighter as soon as we installed the router. However, we had sound problems, apps freezing, and outside cameras would not video. The app has many great tools to help with performance issues. We are just running a router upstairs and downstairs, and that seems to be working perfectly for our needs. We had nine devices running today with zero issues. After we got the kinks worked out, I couldn’t be happier with these routers.
