I was looking for an Omada router that supported 2gb internet speeds. This product does the trick! No issues upgrading from the 605 router. Internet has been solid at 2gb.

I guess they had to limit them to Gigabit to reach their $350 price point, but I would have been happy to pay a bit more to get 2.5Gbps. Having said that, Gigabit is still plenty of bandwidth for many devices, and you still get the full throughput across all the ports (each one can be concurrently downloading at 1Gbps, using ~8Gbps upstream bandwidth). If you want to get 2.5Gbps or 10Gbps on downstream devices, I'd recommend also buying a 2.5Gbps or 10Gbps switch that has an 10Gbps SFP+ uplink, and connect it to the SFP+ LAN port on the ER8411 via a DAC cable.
