Transcend is a very reliable company. Be sure your device accepts XC (extra capacity) otherwise it will not recognize the card since the card is not backward compatible. I have an older device that only accepts HC (high capacity) and it did not recognize the XC card but did recognize the HC card of the exact same brand. There's a saying: 'You get what you pay for', which is usually a warning but from my experience, when it comes to this product, you get MORE for what you pay for.

I have to say I am quite impressed with the 32GB microSD cards I bought. They both went into cell phones and performed perfectly. They are fast and transfer data smoothly. It doesn't matter if you are uploading to or transferring from. My only regret is I didn't pick up a third. They were gone at the listed price. But I will keep my eyes peeled for another opportunity. Don't be like me. When the price is right pick up that extra one for "just in case". You will love Transcend as much as me.

Confirmed card for authenticity with manufacturer. Card no longer has 400x, simply Premium. See attached. Fast read and write speed matching more expensive microSD cards. Used with mini 0906 dash-cam, fills up in 1 day. Initial boot up of videos takes a while, possibly a PC limitation. CrystalDiskMark6.0.0.0 x64 showed 86Mb/s read and 21Mb/read. I've used Transcend memory cards for many years, mostly in my cameras. I now use them in many applications such as our four cameras, two smartphones, two tablets, and a portable scanner. I have recently switched from buying SD cards to buying only microSD cards with adapters. I find the microSD cards to be a bit less expensive, with equal performance, and fit more devices than SD cards. Where I need an SD card I simply use an adapter. I tested the 32GB microSDHC card from transcend and it exceeded it's specifications. I want fast cards for my DSLR which can burst 10 shots per second. I don't want the storage card to be a limiting factor for high speed shots.
I've preferred Transcend products for flash memory and RAM for more than 10 years now, and besides a flash drive that fried in a computer with a flaky power supply I found superior to everything else I bought from brands like Sandisk, PQI, PNY, Patriot, Adata, Voyager, Lexar, Toshiba, Kingston and others. Well up until now..... The TS32GUSDU1 is an extremely picky and problematic card. Compared to my other card, full size 16GB transcend s class 10 sdhc, it really sucks. Write performance with 4Kb sectors is about 1.6 M/s in the mac mini integrated SDHX reader, 6.5 M/s in the eye-fi usb card reader and short of 6MB/s in the Transcend RDP8 usb reader. In my android tabled the speed test application indicated worse speeds for this card than an old 4gb class 4 card with no manufacturer name printed on it (daneelec or transcend) reporting write speeds less than 4.5 M/s and read speeds less than 6.5M/s I can't really decide if this card is worth it, as it is slower in my camera and in my tablet than other, lower class cards I have, and this is where it really matters. All of the above discrepancies leave me to believe that the controller on this is card is extremely bad and negligent design, and just destroyed all trust I could have had for the card performing reliably with my data. Perhaps it will be back and replaced by one of the true and tried Transcend cards of lower capacity and class 10, which at least works for real.

But if you need a memory card for recording HD video or for use in DSLR, look for one that bears the symbol 'U3' (A big 'U' with a '3' inside). I have tested theSony 64GB microSDXC High Speed Memory Card (SR64UXA/TQ) and its Write speed is 57.2MB/s - almost 3 times faster than this U1 card. [Other Observations] - The card says "Made in Taiwan" - The capacity of this '64GB' card, as reported by my computer, is 60.0GB. This is actually higher than that of some other cards. For example, theGigastone MicroSDXC 64GB (GS-2IN1X1064G-R) only shows 58.2GB

Ironically, you can't leave feedback for them, only the ones that work like this, Sandisk, Samsung, Sony, etc. Anyway, if you're shopping you may be looking at them as well because they are cheaper, but here's what I found out: Although the seller refunded my money and told me not to bother returning the Micro SD card, the fact that these cards from this vendor appear to be mostly defective makes me wonder if they make their money off folks that don't bother to apply for a refund or write a review. If only 1 in 10 complain, they can make a ton of money -- even selling them for next to nothing. I've switched to name brand for Micro SD cards. Not worth the hassle. There are ... So far this card has worked perfectly. It reads and writes rapidly, too. I now use it to store downloaded streamed content to play later in my tablet, and also for backup purposes. I will probably purchase more of this brand for my DSLR Camera if this one continues to perform as it does now. The camera is a few years old and will only use SDHC and not the larger capacity SDXC. But 32 GB holds a lot of information, and the prices on them are getting very reasonable. This card came with an adapter with the ability to remove the smaller micro card, so it is useful in all my equipment. I have no complaints about it whatsoever at this time. However, I have only used it for about two weeks.
Transcend is a budget brand and so far has been very good to me in my experience. I use this in mySpy Tec A118-C Capacitor Edition Full 1080P HD Video Car Dashboard Camera - No Internal Battery | Novatek NT96650 Chipset + Aptina AR0330 Lens| 170 Degree Super Wide Angle 6G Lens | B40 G-Sensor and it works beautifully. The camera will only reliably use up to 32GB cards, and this card fits that bill perfectly. I bought 2 of these microSD cards and swap them out if I want to pull footage off the cameras. I record in 1080p for about 10-12 hours a week on average. Wherever I go, it records video on to this card, and I've never once had a corrupt batch of videos out of about a thousand hours of use.
