Exactly what it says on the box. Works perfectly, though the setup isn't the most obvious, it took downloading the JetDrive toolbox and restarting my machine to get it to show up. I'm guessing this part is intended to be so simple as to not need any instructions, but some better software management tools or manuals would be good. Hence the 4 stars

This device really gives my 256gb MacBook Pro a new lease of life by expanding storage. Only downside is that even with the accompanying software that re-awakens the card from standby/ hybernation it still sometimes needs renoving and re- inserting. Obviously once installed you loose the sd port - but there is still usb I suppose.
Works just as stated. This is my second jet drive. Upgraded as photo library doesn't seem to stop growing. Easy was to add storage to MacBook Pro retina.

as expected... 256GB Transcend JetDrive for an old (2015) MacBook Pro. Useful removable storage. I have a few of these and they have so far never letme down.
A great way to expand the storage of your Macbook. I almost never use the SD card slot, so now it's useful. The only issue you might have is when you put Macbook to sleep and then wake it up, "Disk Ejection" errors might come up. And the solution for that is to download the Toolbox software from the website. Then you never see that error again.
I took a gamble and bought this when it was on sale a while back, and I'm glad I did. The compatibility site isn't very helpful, so I wasn't sure this would work on my older Macbook Pro 15", so just went with one that had the right dimensions for my SD Slot. Works well, easily as fast as an external hard drive, so it's perfect for that extra internal storage, and the ability to remove it makes for a great compact backup as well.
