Transformers EarthSpark Deluxe Class Optimus Prime Action Figure

My son gave the super high reviews. He said that it transformed really easily and had a spot for all of the weapons. He was impressed. And he did like the idea that there was a collectible item that you save from different products to make another character... But maybe it shouldn't be a person (maybe a weapon or vehicle) because just having a spare leg in the box is super creepy.

Presented this to my spouse as a present, as he has an affinity for Optimus Prime. During the assembly process, he encountered difficulty adhering to the provided instructions. Transforming Optimus back into his vehicular form without instructions can be a challenge when he is in his Transformer state. Optimus presents a challenge for individuals of all ages.

I received this product Complementary from #Influenster and #Hasbro to try and give my honest opinion on. Well let me start by saying this should be for ages 12 and older not 6 and older. Why do I say that because my husband 48 and myself 40 could not transform this at all. I don't know if we got a defective one or what but we tried everything step by step watched a tutorial on it and couldn't get it to work. If we couldn't get it to transform I don't know how a 6 year old could do it. But as a little figure it's perfect and just him as a toy perfect but to transform nope. My husband is huge transformers fan and myself we love it. The price is 20 dollars with taxes I think that's pretty expensive for the size and how hard it is to try to transform it. Transformation is interesting and pretty smooth for my daughter to do, and I like the new take on Optimus Prime! My daughter likes how the gun attaches the legs to the back of the cab in truck mode! What I think is really neat is that the figure comes with 1 build-a-figure piece. Combine all the 7 figurine pieces to build a figure of Dr. Meridian “Mandroid”, the villainous half-human half-robot from the animated series.

I got this for my 9 year old grandson. He loves things you put together like Legos and transformers. He started out well, but some of the instructional drawings were confusing for him and we had to help him transform the character. I think these would be a LOT easier if there were some text instructions instead of only drawings to tell how to put these together. Might save a little hassle and frustration. Some people have trouble understanding just pictures.

Transformers are a staple in our house. Earth Spark Deluxe Optimus Prime is a great addition to my 6 year old sons collection. He was so excited when he saw this. He immediately started to transform it. I tried to stop him so we could look at the instructions and learn how to do it. Well, he didn't need any instructions. He transformed it into a truck in no time. Funny thing is that he transformed it back to Optimus and gave it to me to transform and I couldn't do it until I followed the instructions. Since then this has been in his room with the others being played with every day. All the areas and pieces that move to enable the transformation move easily and smoothly.

My son is a huge transformers fan! He was beyond excited to get this toy. It was fairly easy for him to transform and had cool accessories. It did come with a leg for another figure that you have to buy more transformers to get all the pieces for the figure. He is thrilled with it and Optimus Prime is always a huge hit!

Great new take on Optimus Prime!

Even though it seems like we have a million Optimus Prime figures, Hasbro and Takara/Tomy seem to find new and interesting ways to present the awesome leader of the Autobots! This time, Optimus reverts to the sleeker version of a semi-truck, instead of the cabover design seen in Cyberverse! Transformation is interesting and fairly smooth, and I like how the gun attaches the legs to the back of the cab in truck mode! The poseability in robot mode is the usual standard awesome range we're used to seeing in a deluxe figure, and Optimus himself looks like he leapt right of the screen from the Earthspark cartoon! The figure isn't perfect; there's a couple of loose joints, particularly in the knees. Smaller than I expected, pieces do come apart making the transformation a bit complicated, yet appropriate for the age range as it transforms into both toys. This is quality plastic and does not feel flimsy. At this price point this makes a perfect gift for a younger fan of transformers.
