Travel Bag Expandable Le Pliage Original Black Longchamp

I bought this bag for my daughter who lives in another state. I have chosen Nordstrom for their unparalleled customer service, even though I could get the item cheaper elsewhere. Buying Longchamp bags from reputable retailers is a must, since there are so many knockoffs. The order process and delivery were flawless. Surprisingly, some online sites have difficulty handling different shipping and billing addresses; I have gone through hassle ordering, cancelling, and forever avoiding these incapable online retailers. I only wish that Nordstrom could price match a larger variety of stores where the Longchamp Le Pliage totes are offered at a lower price range. As far as the bag is concerned, it is a classic, particularly in the signature black and brown leather combination. I also like it in darker colors like Dark Purple, Dark Navy, and Gunmetal. I love that it can be folded into a very small space that can be easily tucked into a carry on luggage. I feel that the short handles are very classy, even though the longer handles might offer more flexibility. I am considering getting one for myself to use instead of my current purse. I would not, however, use it to carry a laptop, since the bag lacks the cushion required to save the computer in case I drop the bag (that happened to me too may times).

This is a beautiful bag. I vacillated on whether to keep vs return and ultimately returned.The pros: the bag is lightweight, the quality of leather and details are lovely, and the ability to expand offers greater versatility when traveling.The cons: the bag only has two very small internal pockets located at the top of the bag (both are too small to hold much more than a cellphone, charger and passport), there is no ability to attach the bag to a suitcase - making it quite heavy to carry through the airport when fully expanded, the shoulder strap is rather uncomfortable.Bummer! My search for the perfect travel bag continues....

Purchased for a present, the bag is great, she already has other Longchamp bags and this one tops the lot. The only negative was the packaging, it arrived in a plastic bag. Just thought that a purchase of that value would have been protected a bit more? Luckily all ok.
