I've dry sensitive skin, so it's always difficult to find products that work well without drying my skin. This scrub worked great at first, but after I started drybrushing, it did dry my skin slightly more than before. The scrub granules are tightly packed, so it deep cleans and exfoliates dead surface skin very well. I loved this product for the amount in the jar (a full 18 oz compared to significantly less with other brands) and the nice rose scent. However, in the past couple of years, the price has almost doubled at some stores. It's still relatively inexpensive at face value, but since I use this as a daily body exfoliator and a little does not go a long way, it adds up pretty quickly. I love most of the tree hut Shay sugar scrubs, because most of them smell very good, and I like how big the sugar is in the scrub. The big dreams of sugar health exfoliate my skin better than a scrub that has very small grain sugar. Now is the Moroccan rose scent is very nice and is one of my top favorites from tree hut. The scent is very sweet with floral mix of rose in the scent. I usually use this scrub before I shave when I’m in the shower and I have the water on pretty hot so my pores can open up and exfoliate to the maximum. Using this scrub has helped, my skin become smooth after shaving and my hairs  take longer to grow back. The only downside to tree hut is the price that they charge for the amount that you get. I am in complete love with Tree Hut. When I first heard about these sugar scrubs, I was nervous to start using them because I had no idea how my skin would react to it - For reference I have super sensitive skin and it breaks out super quickly- but as I quickly started seeing more people using it I instantly knew I needed to try it. The sugar scrub collection has overall made me feel better about my skin but also as if I was using a super expensive cleanser. I have truly been amazed by their products and love trying the new ones as they come out. There is so many different scents, and in many different forms. I highly recommend trying them and adding them to your shower routine ! :)

Dried out my skin so badly

The first time I used this product (Moroccan Rose Sugar Scrub), my legs felt so soft and nice. I loved the way my legs felt when I got under my blanket. However, the second time I didn't get that same feeling again and I noticed my legs were a bit dry. Third and last time having used it, my legs were so dry and ashy.I used this sugar scrub once a week so I don't think I was overusing the product. I have sensitive skin, so maybe my skin was slowly being irritated by an ingredient?? I did some brief research and apparently there aren't that many "bad" ingredients in this product. Love, love, love this scrub! Great for sensitive skin

I bought this product after moving out of state and taking showers in my new home that left my skin feeling dry and dull. Along with switching up my loafe to a body net, I added this scrub as my last step in the shower. It does wonders. My skin immediately feel soft and smells good too. It's smell is nice and not over powering or polluted with a lot of fragrance that feels like unnecessary chemicals on my body. I bought this for myself & my girlfriend started using it frequently and she's extra picky. This purchase was a refill. I will be buying more.

Pleasant but rather perfume-y

This sugar scrub exfoliates well with some moisturizing properties, but I recommend using another moisturizer to soothe that new skin after a shower. I paid special attention to underarms and bikini line before shaving, areas that tend to get ingrown hairs. It feels good, not sandy at all. As you can see in the picture, it’s thick enough to form peaks when you grab some out of it, making it easy to spread on skin. Dissolvable sugar (as opposed to chemical beads) makes it safe for my septic system. The rose scent is just a little too “perfume-y” for me, but I would purchase again in a different scent. It’s good value for 18 oz, but I wish it came in a smaller size that would be appropriate for gift bags.

it's a decent scrub but you do need to use a generous amount as the sugar dissolves rather quickly from friction. Personally, I enjoy the scent but I will advise that it's quite potent, definitely rose with undertones of fresh linen but it doesn't smell terribly cheap like a laundry softener or something. It will actually leave a short lasting scent in your bathroom. Keep in mind that ants might gravitate towards any exposed sugar scrub (like residue) but I noticed they don't go into the jar, perhaps bc of the fragrance. They could infest the jar but it's difficult for me to say bc I used this outside of ant season. Anyways, that's just a little side note, definitely not a deal breaker. it's a great scrub that's great for routine exfoliating. I used this almost daily after 2 rounds of foot peel masks for 2 weeks. I think it made the process a lot faster and easier. I've done several peels before and they usually result in tweaker picking pains (getting a little too enthusiastic about the peeling process. it's addictive and satisfying for a lot of people, however you can accidentally rip off fresh skin that's connected to dead skin that's not peeling yet). Anyways... this is a great treatment and maintenance product after using a foot peel. it does help encourage dead skin to loosen up enough to be easily removed.
