Having grown up with the solid good old Sunbeam version of these I was really disappointed at how flimsy these newer versions are now! Made to a price rather than a high standard, the original Sunbeam would wing any comparison test hands down!

Meat cooks perfectly. it is kinda scary how much fat comes out of the meat when cooking.

So easy to use. Also easy to clean. Cooks to perfection. I love the ability to control the temperature. Having the timer is a great idea!
Unfortunately, the highest power setting is not hot enough to grill steak, pork or any other meat. The food appears to me to be more broilled than grilled. My old Sunbeam was a far superior grill
It took over three hours to cook chicken drumsticks on this machine. Expect more for the price. The vertical grill was a a household favorite growing up. I wanted to give this a shot but unfortunately was very underwhelming. Not made like the classic sunbeam machine
After chatting with my daughters about foods they loved as children, the resounding choice was chops in the vertical grill which they have not been able to get for years. I checked up online and there they were. So I bought TWO! And I was not disappointed, this grill was even better than before with removable steel sides and a drip tray to clean all fat away. ; lamb chops are cooked superbly just with salt and pepper and cleaning is a breeze. For children's sausages cooking is so clean. Well done Harvey Norman!
Overall very flimsy construction and very small compared to my previous sunbeam vertical grillHave used it several times and the rack gets caught on the runners at the top when lifting the rack outWouldn’t recommend it.
Didn’t like it far to slow .The elements just don’t get hot enough to cook meat.
Easy clean, excellent for fattier foods. Used to have one years ago, so glad found another one
