I love this hairspray! As someone who has super straight hair it’s important to be to use a hairspray that actually holds the curl for hours. Unlike other hairsprays this one will hold my hair all day and night. My hair might still fall a little but if it does it’s minimal. I love that it also comes in a travel size. I 100% recommend trying this hairspray especially if you have super straight hair that doesn’t like to hold a curl.

Honestly my bf is the one who uses this hairspray by Tresemme and it has excellent hold over a 24 hour period! His hair looks absolutely un-phased by wind, clothing, or me playing with it! He looks absolutely flawless from noon when applies it till he gets off work at 3 lam as a taxi driver! This is absolutely incredible hairspray and it has extremely great hold. The only negative part of this hairspray is it does make my bfs hair a little crispy or “crunchy” but he honestly is does not seem to mind based on how well it holds. Despite the crispy feeling of this hairspray I’d still recommend it to others especially for any even you have a special even to go to where you don’t want any fly aways as this is a great hairspray for that!!!

Brilliant Hairspray, No Frizz!

TRESemme's Extra Hold Hairspray is absolutely brilliant. I suffer with extremely frizzy hair and I always seems to get 'fly away' pieces of hair whatever hairspray I use.This hairspray worked wonders for me. It stopped my hair from frizz and fly aways throughout the entire day. It really does last 24 hours as it states!It also holds your hair in place whatever style you choose to create, and doesn't leave your hair feeling hard or sticky.It smells great too, and doesn't leave a horrible taste and feeling in the back of your throat like most other hairsprays do.It's a super large can and therefore will last a very long time. Does what it says

I've actually never used Tresemmé hair spray before due to the nature of my hair. With having tight curls I usually stick to those old faithful. I was pleasantly surprised. First of all the can is massive! Can certainly imagine it lasting a while. After washing and part drying my hair I used the spray as it a way to control frizz an finished off with another spray to hold the 'do in place. Does exactly what it says on the can. After a few hours of windy humid weather I had no sign of my normal frizz and flyaways. Held the style I wanted and kept my hair looking full bodied. The other bonus is it doesn't have that strong chemical smell that you can often get with sprays. Does what it says on the can!

I normally use Tresseme 2 hold hairspray but this was the only one available in a travel size. It definitely holds, in fact a very strong hold! I prefer my number 2 hold but if you are after a strong hold hairspray to last all evening, this is the one for you. And a little goes a long way which is an added bonus!

Extra Hold, Extra Nice

I normally purchase the freeze hold TRESeme hairspray which does what it says but can leave my hair feeling dry.Using this hairspray for the last 2 days and I’m already converted!This holds my hair in place and gives it that salon shine all day long. I spray about 5 seconds around my hair and style and then top up slightly once in place and VOILA I’m good to go for the day.I’ve had some lovely comments on my hair since using this.My hair doesn’t feel as heavy and when brushing it out it comes straight out without any residual dryness or stickyness.It doesn’t smell to much like hairspray either, which is a bonus, others have left me choking, not this one!In a slightly odd side to the review, this comes off my glasses easily! Great for fine hair

My hair is super fine and always ends up dropping out of braids, having fly away strands and generally looking flat after five minutes no matter what I use when styling it. Well having tried a new curling wand, spraying this all over and hoping for the best I'm really pleased. My rubbish attempt at curls lasted most the day and survived the heat of me cooking Christmas dinner after flying around tidying up baby toys and not tripping over the dog. I don't know if it would hold 24hrs on others but 10hours for me is fantastic and it dried really light, not tacky and didn't make my hair stick together in thick strands so I'm happy. I would say if you have fine hair it's worth trying.

Not an everyday spray...

I used this spray for a couple of different occasions, to test how it worked in different ways that I would use it.As an everyday 'keep hair in place' spray, I wouldn't recommend it for people with my hair type (thin, more dry than oily, and slightly wavy), as I don't think it really added anything to my daily hair routine. If you have slightly more 'out of control' hair, I would recommend the spray for taming it, as it keeps 'fly away' bits of hair stuck down pretty well.I also used the spray when I had a show to perform, and needed my hair to stay in place for 7-8 hours, so it was really put to the test. I can say as a result, I would definitely use it again. TRESemmé Firm Hold Hairspray

I do like a firm hold hairspray as my hair tends to go a bit flat and I like one that will hold well when I bouff up my hair or tie it up in a messy style, I like the 'beach hair' look and I like to experiment with hairstyles and accessories so a good hold spray is a must. This spray is the best one I have used. It lasts all day. It does leave hair a bit crunchy when a lot is used, but unlike others, the crunch soon wears off but the style keeps its shape and is soft, whereas with the others I have used, the style drops out as soon as the hold fades, and I am left with flat lifeless hair. It smells very nice too, a nice pretty scent, not a chemical smell like some sprays. This product stands strong

Already a huge fan of the TRESemme range I was very excited to try the TRESemmé Firm Hold Hairspray in 500ml. The canister was humongous and would be great for those who use hairspray at industrial levels but I found the size a little too large for my needs as you cant fit the canister in a standard drawer, so not the most practical. I would love to have the option of a smaller size of this product in future as it is great value.I always find there are always 3 fundamentals to a great hairspray; hold, stickiness, and smell. I could not fault the hold of the hairspray. I have very thick, coarse, auburn hair, so any updos require a lot of fixing with bobby pins. I was very pleased with the result which lasted several hours under an intense motherhood schedule and the brutal British, winter weather conditions. Minimal strands were out of place and I looked great so win-win.The next test was stickiness. Now applying the spray it did feel initially sticky but that soon hardened and I was left with a smooth non-stick finish. The product also brushed out of the hair well, so you can go from work up-do to a relaxed natural finish at the end of the day without your hair feeling like concrete, so again was very happy with this element to the product.The only minor improvement I would like to see is the smell. When spraying the product on my hair the chemically smell is incredibly strong and overwhelming, (you definitely wouldn't want to risk spraying near open flames). The smell does settle on your hair and vanishes nearly completely, but I don't feel you are left with a great smelling product as it was kind of nondescript, so would like to see more fragrance added so your hair can keep smelling great all day.All in all a great product, worth the money and keeps your hair flawlessly in place from day to night. I would buy this product again as it works great with the wider range of TRESemme products on offer.
