TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Shampoo 940 ml

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I received this shampoo as part of a trial team and I have to say that it lived up to what I expected from a colour revitalizing shampoo. Firstly, I'll address the packaging which I found modern and appealing. I did find it hard to open the top dispenser which seemed to be stuck but eventually it came loose and dispensed just the right amount for a wash. I liked the fragrance which is like cherry blossoms. It is fresh and sweetly scented. The texture of the shampoo is thick and it lathers really well. I lathered it twice each wash as I normally do with all my shampoos. I was pleasantly surprised that this shampoo left my hair feeling smooth, shiny and definitely more manageable. After washing and prior to applying conditioner it felt soft and smooth. My colour also seemed to appear more vibrant and more light reflective. My flyaways were smoothed down and my hair felt light and bouncey. I also noticed that my colour didn't fade as quickly as it usually does. I have red hair and it fades out after a week but this shampoo seemed to hold colour well and not wash it down the drain. I will definitely continue to use this product as it is good value for money and delivers what it claims In comparison to other shampoos I've tried, it is on par with the more expensive shampoos I've purchased and the large bottle is sure to last awhile making it great value for money.

The product arrived in the post with the accompanying conditioner. Both large plastic bottles containing 940mls with a pump lid. Unfortunately both bottles had leaked significantly and I noticed it had come from the screw top being loose rather than the pump. However after that experience I have only good things to say about this shampoo. The bottle is black plastic with a pump lid which I prefer over other lids for ease of use. I noticed a change in the graphics they’ve used on their packaging which I like. The instructions state that it is gentle enough to be used daily however I opted for 2nd daily (I wash my hair about every 3 days so decided to increase that to every 2 days). It has Vitamin E, Argan Oil and Green Tea, contains no parabens, alcohol or dyes. This shampoo is lovely to use, only requiring a few pumps for my shoulder length and straight hair. It lathers well (contains SLS) which I don’t mind in my shampoo products and rinses well. The smell is strong however, again that isn’t a negative thing for me. I do enjoy certain scents with my hair care products and the smell lasted for a good while afterwards. I could still smell a faint scent in my hair the 2nd day. It leaves my hair with a nice sheen and I must say that it doesn’t strip colour as much as other shampoos that I’ve used. I’ve been using this just on 2 weeks and I’m due for a touch up in a week, I’m happy to say that the colour has not faded as fast as it usually does. The real test will be when I use it straight after my appointment until the next one, so yes I will continue to use this.

I am not sure if it is the hair dye or the shampoo, but colour was still bleeding out after a whole week, shampooing every two to three days. I did read that vibrant hair colours do tend to bleed more, and yes I did rinse off the dye properly in the shower after dying. Having said that, I do like this shampoo. Best Conditioner for Colour Treated Hair

I have my hair coloured on a regular basis and this conditioner was recommended to me by my colourist. It intense conditioning adds the needed moisture and enrichment that is necessary to maintain my hair. It also ensures no fading of my colour. The smell of the hibiscus is wonderful, that I’m constantly asked what do I use on my hair and I’m happy to tell them. You can find this product easily in stores and the price is extremely reasonable. If you colour your hair, I strongly recommend this for the healthy maintenance of your hair.

Good Everyday Shampoo

I have the opportunity to #trywithtopbox a #freeproduct !I tested the Tresemme Revitalize Color Shampoo and Conditioner for coloured hair.I have highlighted and low lighted hair. I wash my hair daily in the mornings, just what I prefer. This duo has a lovely and light fragrance which is not over powering.The shampoo lathers nicely and the conditioner rinses clean. I find my hair easy to comb through after using this combo. I also find my hair to be smooth and shines.I can’t say that I notice I a difference in the vibrancy of my hair colour itself, but I am okay with that.I feel value for money is great for this product, but would consider it a daily use shampoo and conditioner and not necessarily for colour treated hair.

Great for brunette to blonde coloured hair

Love that this product is all round

The TreSemme color revitalizer shampoo is a great shampoo to get your hair looking and feeling alive. As someone who colors their hair all the time, this is my go-to shampoo for hydration. I love that this shampoo does not alter my hair color at all. It keeps it looking the same but with an added softness. I usually do about 2-3 pumps and lather it on my hair for 5 minutes. I love the way it lathers on and bubbles up. There is no strong chemical scent in this shampoo, but it does have a perfume scent. I absolutely love the pump that it comes with since this shampoo is too heavy to hold in the shower. Overall a great shampoo for color-treated hair

Nice Shampoo!

I received Tresemme Revitalize Color Shampoo for Colored Hair and Tresemme Revitalize Color Conditioner for Colored Hair as a #freeproduct from TOPBOX #trywithtopbox. I love how this shampoo is specifically created for color treated hair (something that is important to me, as I dye my hair). It has sunflower seed oil for hair and is meant to make my hair appear more vibrant and shiney. The shampoo lathers up nicely and leaves my hair feeling fresh and clean. After using this shampoo for a few weeks I have noticed my hair does look healthier and has a beautiful shine to it. My hair is also easier to manage and style once it’s dry. The shampoo is also free from harmful ingredients which is important to me! I will be purchasing it again once I run out.
