I have combination skin which tends to be more dehydrated when seasons change and in the winter so wasn’t sure how it would react to this cream which is for very dry skin. A little goes a long way and I use it as a night cream (might be too heavy to be worn under makeup) and my skin feels very hydrated and plumped in the morning. It is a very rich cream so not necessarily to everyone’s liking but it did wonders on my skin!

Great product. Would buy again.

Great product. Subtle fragrance, perfect consistency for easy squeezing. Absorbs readily into skin leaving no oily/barrier feeling. I’m a repeat buyer of this brand as sensitive to many fragranced products, but this works for me.

Hydration without heavy feeling
8 April 2023

Have suffered with bad acen in for years. Recently have been taking medication for acne which dried my skin out so badly. This cream has been a life saver. The dryness cleared up from the first use but has not affected my acne or made it worse at all. It has actually soothed and help with the healing process.

Instant relief for my skin
7 April 2023

I bought this product with the hopes of quenching my extremely dry skin. The New Zealand winters were harsh on my otherwise combination skin and I developed patches of dryness particular near my cheeks and eye area. I felt an instant soothing and moisturizing affect from day one of using the Ultra Hydrating Face Cream. I use this product in conjunction with the cream cleanser from Trilogy and the duo seems to work quite well for me. Use this product as often during the day as required to keep your skin moisturized.

It's better than you think!
20 August 2022

It's thick, non greasy, and oh so nourishing. I would hazard a guess that this face cream works best overnight to a clean skin, as you wake up with a soft pillowy face, ready to face the day. Highly reccomend during winter, and on dry legs/hands. Its a miracle cream. Impressed!

Sure is Hydrating
7 April 2023

This is a miracle for winter skin. Unlike heavy-duty moisturisers this didn't feel heavy or oily or poorly absorbed. It was light-weight but definitely delivered with the hydration. Super soft skin and didn't make me break out. Curious to see how it holds up in warmer months.

Sustained Hydration? - Look no Further
22 April 2020

If you’re a bit older and have skin that needs sustained hydration (I’m 57 with combination skin) don’t bother looking beyond the Trilogy range. I recently did and regret it. Even moisturisers that claim to deliver ‘intense hydration’ (like Akin’s Line Smoothing Day Cream and Cera Ve’s Facial Moisturising Lotion – both left my skin dryer than before applying moisturiser) don’t actually fulfil this claim.Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Cream delivers generous hydration hours after application while absorbing well enough to act as a good base for foundation. It also contains the necessary humectants (like glycerine) which are essential in extracting moisture from the air to bind it to your skin. This cream also contains a high concentration of wonder-product rosehip oil which hydrates, moisturises, brightens, exfoliates and boosts collagen. They contain palm oil but do not test on animals or ship to China, which does. The Vital Moisurising Cream is a little lighter and perhaps more versatile for summer but both of these are outstanding for the price. So don’t bother experimenting; you’ll only wind up spending too much and still not being satisfied. The answers are in the Trilogy range.

Unexpected Benefits
19 October 2020

Wow, just wow. It took me a while to click that the reason I looked different was that my skin looked nice for the first time I can remember! I have sensitive, reddish, fair skin. Prone to breakouts and feeling tight and dry, sun damaged and all the worse for sleepless nights with a baby. I had only used this twice when I noticed my skin was much less red and seemed brighter, even glowing (something my skin has certainly never been). At first the texture made me skeptical. It's thick and almost disappears on your skin, so I felt like I needed to apply more, but I didn't, it just must soak in really well.I've always struggled to find a product that provides lots of moisture without making my skin really oily.
