This helmet is exactly what I was looking for! The quality, fit and colors are spot on. I was right on the cusp of a small/medium and an xs/s. I'd recommend sizing down if you are right between the two on the size chart. Ashley worked with me on an exchange and she was great!

As I picked riding back up after many years on the bmx track , I decided to make sure I got a helmet that was of great quality and had good feedback, and the support behind the product. 3 weeks ago I was involved in a downhill bmx crash that caused a concussion, 4 herniated discs, and 2 tears. I truly believe that the dual certified sweat saver helmet could have saved my life and will continue to wear the new one because of its safety and brand support. Great Team at Triple 8 !!! 👊🏻

I originally just went to a store and bought a helmet off the shelf from another brand but after a bit more looking into it realized it wasn't certified at all.. like what's the point?!?So I bought this helmet online for the sharp looks and dual cert. I originally got the S/M as I was at the top end of the size range but it ended up being too small. Triple8 was super great at helping me exchange for the next size up which is perfect. Will enjoy my skates knowing I'm protected!
Looks Better online. It’s abit darker in person and there’s nothing printed on the box to say it’s a Brain Saver. I wanted something with good “saving standards” as my son rides Freestyle Bmx and is full on. I ended up buying another one with MIPS. Probably good for skates/boarding, such as this website is.
Love this helmet because it’s the only one I felt I could fit properly on my boys’ heads (I got myself one as well). My 13 year old wrecked his bike, but not his head thanks to this helmet! All the ER doctors were very pleased (no concussion) so we’re buying exactly the same one to replace it. Thank you!
Great helmet, nice that it is certified for skate and bike. Both kids and parents have same helmet. Bought another after one helmet sacrificed itself in the line of duty.
I went in to this helmet buying it instead of something else to save money and came out very glad I got this. This helmet is very comfortable and light but I feel confident enough to ride my longboard at higher speeds because every time I have fell this helmet takes the blow well and I feel okay after. If you need a helmet for long boarding or skating this is a good choice. Also feels very cool while wearing it with the way wind enters the helmet.
This is my second helmet from Triple Eight (I've sadly misplaced my first one) and the quality is still top notch! Thankfully since investing into having a helmet while skateboarding I haven't fallen so I can't speak for that but I can speak for the obvious quality of these helmets, the comfort is great, they're certified and THAT gives me so much comfort!Most of all I just honestly have way more confidence to get better at skateboarding with these helmets, I smacked my head on pavement one time and that was enough for me to decide I needed a helmet, and a GOOD one. I feel safe to try learning tricks, getting more aggressive with gaining the proper technique and power behind pushing the board.Their customer service is amazing. Having a larger than average head, finding a comfortable, durable, and good looking helmet is a struggle. This helmet is as close to perfect, for the price. The materials (plastic, foam, and nylon) feel a bit on the cheap side, but they also feel lighter and less intrusive. For taking a short fall (street or park) I feel confident that it could absorb the blow. If the helmet was a bit higher quality, I’d wear it on a ramp... if I ever dared. Helmets have come a long way since I got my first in the 90s and this is an excellent model for my big headed brethren.
