Triple 8 Saver Pack Kneesaver Elbowsaver Wristsaver - Lucky Skates XS

Ordered a size extra small(XS) according the measurement but the size of the knee pads and and elbow pads were too small. I wished they mentioned that XS was meant for young children and not petite adults :/. I ended up giving it away to my nephew but other than that, the product was okay.

I ordered a size small(S) according to the measurements but unfortunately my thigh area where the upper strap for the knee pads go are bigger so the straps were too tight but I was crafty enough to add extra elastic straps so that they fit perfectly. I have not used them yet. When I do, I will try to give a review based on comfort and protection while skating and/or falling lol

I bought these pads to go with my new rollerskates and they match great. I hate how all of them are black, which is just blah, but these add some punch to your outfit. So, now I can fall in style! Trust me, it's been a long time since I've rollerskated so these guys will get much use. I was worried they would be too small but they adjust out nicely and fit great. Hopefully I never hit the ground hard enough to find out how durable they are, but they are great quality just the same.

This product not only protects me from my many tumbles, they are cute as well! I also would love to review the amazing service I received because there was initially a problem when I received my purchase (things happen). From the moment I started the online chat until the problem was fixed, the service was great. They were quick to fix the problem to above satisfaction all while being extremely professional & friendly. I can’t recommend skate pro enough!! This was my first time purchasing from them & it won’t be my last :)

Well made. My son has fallen multiple times and he says it didn't hurt at all. One star reduction for not having a sleeve. Now I think people may vary on whether a sleeve is necessary. Without a sleeve it is easier to put on but without a sleeve kids that put them on may not tighten them enough to keep them in place. Since I prioritize me not helping, one star reduction.

A Great Deal

I bought this alongside a helmet of the same brand and it goes extremely well as a set. I recommend purchasing this with the helmet and keep an eye out for deals that include a complete skateboard. Does the job, economical choice

I like that the saver series contains the 3 sets of pads but you can only choose one size for all of them to come in. I really only have an issue with the elbow pads. The straps are stretchy with velcro at the ends to stick onto the body of the pad to be secure. I guess I have smaller elbows so I have to stretch the straps to make them tight but since only the ends have the soft velcro, that means the the pokey velcro on the body of the pad touches the part of the strap that don't have the velcro. So when you take off the elbow pads, the part of the strap that was touching the pokey velcro gets messed up (the strings that make up the fabric are pulled out). I mostly unintentionally fall forward and backward and use my hands (save my tailbone!) when rollerskating (newbie here!). I haven't fallen too much on my knees and elbow but I think they will help with the impact when I do. They are padded, comfortable to wear, and don't shift around.One thing that I found weird was the smell. It is hard to describe, almost like an old musty book, but it wasn't pleasant. I think the source of the smell was from the cardboard box that holds the pads, so just go ahead and place that in the recycling bin.(Originally, I wanted to purchase some 187 Killer Pads but they are more expensive and do not come in a saver series set with all 3 sets of pads.)

As a new adult skateboarder, these pads do what they need to. I've fallen plenty in my first few weeks, and felt fully protected. I looked a lot at sizing charts for pads while shopping to make sure I was getting something that for, and this sizing was spot on. The knee and elbow pads are not tubes like I initially thought-- they are just Velcro straps. I actually like this even better. Over long pants or bare knees, they stay in place either way for me.

Seems good overall. Size chart off a bit?

When I ordered these, the sizing chart for the elbow pads seemed off since it said I was a small in everything but then a large in the elbow pads (maybe I measured wrong?). Since it's a set I just went with the small, and everything seems to fit fine. I'm a female, 5' 8" and 135 lbs for anyone wanting a reference. The pads all seem like they'll work fine and they're comfortable. I'm a complete beginner though, so these are also the first of any I've owned.

Sizing Challenges, but Still Worth it!

This is a good quality set! The only challenge is that the wrist guards are way smaller than the knee pads and elbow pads. I wish you could mix and match the sizes in the set-- I couldn't have gone smaller in the wrists but would have loved a more snug fit with the rest. Despite that, these work great and offer me the protection I need!
