My husband thought it was best i start wearing a helmet (both while inline skating and biking) to set a good example around our daughter. I didn't want a a big bulky helmet as i am not very agressive or fast. I found the triple 8 and saw it had rave reviews as a skate helmet. Although it is a skate helmet And not certified for biking, it seems like a great balance between a bulky certified helmet and riding bareheaded. I love the comfy fit and the added margin of protection i get and My husband is happy I have a helmet i wear. I dont plan on testing its protective capabilities but am sure a would be fine if i hit me head.

Light and sturdy, offers maximum protection, elegant, sleek design, with inserts that can be washed or replaced, I simply cannot think of a better helmet. It is not size adjustable, so chose your size carefully. Customer service at Triple Eight is excellent, quick to respond, ready to make every customer a happy skater. Highly recommended.

It's important that before purchasing any helmet you take a moment to properly measure the circumference of your head. Evo provides a measuring guide that really helps understand what to look out for when choosing the right size. Upon receiving the helmet, you'll immediately realize how snug it is and secure especially if you've picked the correct size. It didn't seem too tight nor too loose. Triplesaver is a great brand for safety equipment so it seemed to be a win-win situation alongside the complete set. The strap rests comfortably under your chin, so not being unjustable won't be a problem. It's comfortable and fits the head securely so this is a definite recommend.

The size chart is very accurate. The sizes are smaller than other helmets. Make sure you measure your head and check the sizing chart. I bought the medium, and it fit but it was very very snug on my head (My head measured about 22 inches, so I thought I might could squeeze it in. Later I remeasured and realized I probably should have had someone help me. I'm closer to 22.4) I would have exchanged it for a Large, but there were no larges in the color I selected. Seemed like it would be a good helmet, I was just picky about color and sizing. The baja teal looks great in person!
Bought 4 of these helmets for the kids and replaced mine from 1985. The sweatsaver liner is cushy and soft. The helmets fit varies obviously. My 7 year old fits the size small great. The other helmets all tend to push your ears forward. We have adjusted the padding inside to no avail. The 12 year old cant wear glasses with the helmet comfortably. I like mine, minus the ears being pushed on. Very protective. Gonna push the kids to wear them, but comfort is an issue, so try this helmet on before purchase.
This helmet is super comfortable and very durable. I have a different helmet that I was using before this one and it was scratchy and sweaty. The padding in this helmet is so great.I had a huge fall trying to go down a ramp and would've had a severe concussion (and very likely brain damage) had I not been wearing this helmet. It took a really hard hit, protected me, and will live to see many more skate sessions. Highly recommend!
We do a lot of sledding and snow tubing as a family. Problem is the slope gets icy and fast real quick. For years we have made the kids wear their skate helmets. This past winter My husband started wearing his hockey helmet. I am careful wear my thick tosel cap and my parka hood drawn tight. I thought my husband has being bit ridiculous until i watched him wipe out and seeing his helmeted head make contact with the frozen snow. I found the triple 8 that night. it is pretty awesome it protects the head and keeps me warm. As an added bonus i have worn it skating several times this summer hope to never test it out
Love the quality of the sweat saver skateboarding helmet as well as the accessories. Got a full set for myself and my son and have nothing but positive things to say most importantly the helmet meant fit my big head. Lastly engaged with them via customer service in need of an extra clip that I didn't see for sale online and they took care of me right away. Huge fan of the quality and client services, highly recommend.
These are excellent helmets. It is vital that people wear helmets. Our family friend is plagued with health problems because he didn’t wear a helmet one single time. Seizures and speech problems. Wear your helmet for your own sake
This has become my go to helmet. I never did the helmet thing but bought this one for skating. Since then if i need a helmet this is the only one i will wear. When i want some extra protection in the snow or on my bike I wear it. I love the fact that it is slightly snug on my head and i usually wear the strap loose. If i am really getting crazy i do snug the strap up. It feels so much better than my husbands certified helmet with the hard foam. I am not planning on testing its protective capabilities but am sure it would perform perfectly
