The Cerberus Triple-Ply Deadlift Belt has been designed to give you great support but with unrivalled comfort. For those who find deadlifting in a standard 4" 10mm or 13mm leather belt very uncomfortable our Triple Ply Deadlift Belt is the answer. With it's dual ring locking system and extra strength Hook and loop you can rely on this belt to support you when it counts. There is no way this belt will pop off you like many other Hook and loop based belts during a maximum effort lift. It also makes a great belt for moving/loading events such as Atlas Stones because it does not limit your range of movement. Also great for Log as there is no buckle in the way which makes these belts a great choice for Strongman events! Sizing: Please measure where you would wear your lifting belt, don't use your normal waist size. Subtract 2" from this size and select a belt based on this size. Similarly with our extra length hook and loop closing system if you gain weight your belt will still serve you well.

When doing heavy lifts near your max, as we often do in the strength world, this belt is a must-have. It always delivers with its comfort and ease of placement. The rigidity is just right - providing proper support and resistance without suffocating you like other comparable products. I’ve used other brands’ hard belts in the past - will never go back after getting this one! Once it wears out I’ll get another one right away.I haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten from Cerberus - this is no exception. If you’re shopping for a hard belt look no further. Devon and the guys with Cerberus can hook you up today!

I bought this belt to help my deadlift and was based upon good previous reviews on the website and a friend directly recommended this too.I got the belt and was pleased with how it came and how it looked and was excited to use it.However, this is where the positivity ended. I used the belt for my deadlift and it strapped up well, but as soon as I got into my deadlift bottom position, it would slip up and move and I lost tightness. I had no support and my back is in pieces quite frankly. Very unhappy with this and feel like I have wasted my money quite frankly. Think I’m gonna ask around again for another belt and not one that is Cerberus unfortunately.I would like a refund but seeing as I’ve used it and only once I’d like to add, I can’t according to the terms ... MoreI bought this belt to help my deadlift and was based upon good previous reviews on the website and a friend directly recommended this too.I got the belt and was pleased with how it came and how it looked and was excited to use it.However, this is where the positivity ended. The thickness and flexibility is good offers perfect support throughout your back and abdomen however, the double ring but not the velcro I had fail twice using the double ring to lock it in place on the second day. If you wear your belt really tight the metal rings will slip through each other but the velcro currently can hold it in place. Also when I tighten the belt the black end pieces of the belt overlap and have a tendency to pinch and poke you in the lower abdomen. I'm 47yo male 185 lb with a 33.5 in waist I use a medium belt. The double rings continuously fail me in deep bending exercises with moderately heavy weight. The belt still works with out locking it through the double rings and just looping it through because the velcro is still relatively new. The double rings continue to slip through more each day I used them. I've used it 16 times so far and the double locking rings slip through even on bench press to include leg presses and squats. The belt is fine unless you're using over 300 lbs then you have to hope the velcro holds. I'm not sure if the rings are a manufactured defect or if it's poor construction. I'm not satisfied because now I have a $65 velcro belt with the lifespan strictly that of the velcro. I could have bought one much cheaper at Walmart to do the same thing.Cerberus order#30868

Now in my early 50's, and after a long hiatus from heavier (relatively speaking) weight training, I have recently returned to weight lifting and have begun working slowly to rebuild strength. Although my lifting weight levels still are rather low, but advancing steadily, they already were beginning to put pressure on my lower back -- two disks damaged years ago -- and just plain causing me to worry about injury and setbacks. I ordered this belt on recommendation of a relative, a professional strongman competitor who uses Cerberus products. The construction is very solid, the adjustability is perfect, and it is overall very comfortable -- also it is well priced, a great value, for what you get. The construction is very solid, the adjustability is perfect, and it is overall very comfortable -- also it is well priced, a great value, for what you get. I've just finished my sixth week since restarting and I was able to deadlift, squat, and overhead press this week without any issues with my back, and I felt complete confidence this belt had my back well supported. I am very pleased and impressed, and I've already started ordering additional products to help protect and support my less youthful body. Thank you!
LOVE this belt!! From using a similar belt from another company, to a lever belt, I opted for the Cerberus triple ply belt and am extremely happy. It’s so versatile, and plan on using it for more than just deadlifts. As I begin my strongman journey I’m sure this belt will be a huge aid in lifts. The velcro is top notch and the belt itself is very well made. I’m so happy with this purchase
I own version 2 of this product and it is my favorite lifting belt - I use it each week for deadlifts, overhead pressing, and especially log presses. I decided to upgraded to version 3 and am glad I did. The new velcro is very robust and I especially appreciate the new clasp which locks the belt in tight and in my experience makes cinching the belt down more user friendly than the earlier versions. The upgrades are immediately noticeable and worth the price of upgrading if you have the earlier version of the belt like I do. Cerberus did a great job with this version so congrats to the design team! Recommended. Great belt.
I’ve had and used this belt for 1-3 training sessions per week for about 2.5 years now. I chose not to review the belt until I had accumulated sufficient experience with it, and I’d certainly say I have by now. It’s color has faded a bit, but it still performs as new. I do find there to be a design flaw that prevents me from being completely confident in it during max effort deadlifts- the locking loops have a tendency to become misaligned, and due the their shape, they are able to slip through each other under bracing tension, causing the belt to suddenly go slack during a lift. While I have been fortunate/lucky enough for this not to have caused an injury yet, it has happened a number of times and has become a safety concern as weight has gone up, and ... MoreI’ve had and used this belt for 1-3 training sessions per week for about 2.5 years now. While I have been fortunate/lucky enough for this not to have caused an injury yet, it has happened a number of times and has become a safety concern as weight has gone up, and unfortunately I will have to retire it. If a seam was added to keep the locking rings separate within their loop, they would not be able to slip through each other, and the belt would be much safer. I’m honestly very surprised to have not seen an update of this nature happen since I purchased mine. It’s hard to complain much for the price, but I would sway prospective buyers towards a leather belt with a more secure fastening mechanism.
Good belt, as described. I have not used the main competitors for this belt, so I don't know how it compares. But on the sizing, I am between a medium and large. I got the medium, wish I would have got the large instead. Didn't want to mess with the hassle of an exchange. Even with about 3 inches of gap, the support is sufficient. Here is how my belt measures, in ACTUAL inches: the black nylon is 33" in length. That is ends touching with zero overlap and zero gap. It would close 3" smaller, for an actual measure of, obviously, 30".A gap of 4" or more (so 37" ACTUAL measurement), and I wouldn't trust just the velcro closure, you'd probably want to use the locking rings, which is a little bit fiddly. And 4" of gap is probably too much if you're looking for max ... MoreGood belt, as described. I have not used the main competitors for this belt, so I don't know how it compares. This belt replaced my Harbinger belt that I've had for years. They're the same style, but this one is much thicker and gives me way more support. I used it for deadlifting the other day and the support, comfort, and durability were excellent. I'm looking forward to using this belt when I go for a new 1rm at the end of this new powerlifting cycle. Thank you Cerberus!
I have been training and lifting weights for 40+ years. This belt is really the most comfortable I have ever used while it’s also substantially thick and supportive. I’ve recently gotten into some strongman training, including sand bags, and it has been outstanding. Loved it so much. I got my 16-year-old daughter one and she’s training hard with it as well. I’m 510 185 and the large fit me perfect. One of the best parts about the belt is the freaking look of it! The colors in the logo are outstanding everything that Ken and team put out here are amazing. really the products are amazing. I also have his sandbags wrist straps and Inferno product, which is a muscle rub. All unbelievable stuff.
