I used it once and the cutting blade snapped on the cutting edge.Repaired the damaged section only for the blade to bend and snap off more off the cutting edge. Soft mild steel needs to be higher carbon steel

Poor quality. The telescopic part is ok but the blades flex too much.First break was the bolt stripped the threads. Second the titanium cutting blade broke at the force multiplier end. Snapped clean off.

Cut some small branches and the cutting blade broke. Bought this and did not use it for a few weeks. I would not recommend these Loppers as the blade is brittlel. Rather buy something that has better quality.

Utter rubbish. Cheap. Broke within minutes. Bunnings had a great way of making things look good in store, then fall apart at home. Waste of time and money.
Purchased recently to prune roses and small fruit trees. Blades twist very easily and often won't cut. They do not leave a clean wound, and worst of all sometimes the gear mechanism bypasses totally and you crush your fingers in the handles.
Worked well till I attempted a larger branch then bent and snapped. We’re still useable for a couple more months but then became out of alignment. Would be ok for smaller lighter uses.
The ratchet mechanism on ours just sheared through (on a small branch about the thickness of a finger) much like the pictures shown by other customers. Steel used in it looks like very low quality casting.
Purchase at the beginning of the year, pruning some bushes last week and the 'Sharp Titanium Treated Cutting Blade' blade snapped at the section where the gears are. Unexpected considering the advertised statement so use carefully and not on jobs where titanium is not strong enough, in this case, a small bush.
utter garbage, I`m a professional horticulturalist and I can honestly say this product is a flimsy , low quality ineffective piece of rubbish. It will be returned. Buy something made by Felco instead, I've had mine since 1980 and they are still going strong.
Hello, the blades jammed after the first ten minutes of cutting. Basically the metal used for the blade is soft because it bent causing the edge of the blades to bite into each other. The blades should be made of hardened carbon steel. I was attracted by the fancy 'golden' blade thinking it was some kind of Crome vanadium etc hard steel.I wonder if these items are put to the test before manufacturing.A waste of time. I returned it obviously.
