I bought this stainless steel tool to help me remove a ton of weeds from our back garden; largely made up of couch grass. After 6 hours of use the plate on the bottom bent flat. I tried pulling it out but the rear weld then broke. If they had just made the plate out of a thicker gauge steel it would have probably lasted for years.

Great value little weeder. Gets the job done and doesn't break the bank. Can't justify buying an equivalent weeder that costs way more
Echoing the other reviews. Works well but the flat plate is a bit flimsy with rubbish welding. Worked for a few weeks and then the welding snapped rending it useless.
Worked well for a few months, cheap 'stainless steel' welds broke off the rounded levering part of the tool, pictures tell the story.
Wife used the tool for about 4 hours till the 1m plate collapsed rendering it almost useless, then the plate detached from the shaft.
At half the price of the more expensive brand I am amazed at the quality of this hand weeder. Strong enough to handle tough roots on well established weeds and it removes them with ease (even more so if the ground is damp from rain.). The padded handle doesn't blister my palm like the dearer (wooden handle) tool. I'll buy a couple more of these Trojan ones (for the future) and have recommended them to all my friends in our garden club.
It is good to use for small garden. for me it did the job
Hand picking weeds would work better than this.
